Hey Nica Thanks! Not taxation - merely my staycation! I had some time off and spent it with the family. Funny enough I get more time at work to post than during my "free" time. Guess that comes with being a 911 dispatcher - times of absolute crazy work and times of absolute nothing going on. It definitely is a familial experience though. I hold a small (less than 1%) that Brian added a guitar to Rog's credits song. Not likely though

I will wait til 2015 is over to document the live performances - since that will also encapsulate the South American tour and any other misc. gigs BUT I will continue to document studio stuff as it comes out... Brian May + Kerry Ellis - One Voice (Digital Single)Written by: Ruth Moody Brian May - lead vocals, background vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards Kerry Ellis - lead vocals, background vocals John Micelli - drums - As a part of the Common Decency initiative Brian and Kerry cover a song by Ruth Moody who is in a band called the Wailin' Jennys. Ruth gave Brian and Kerry her blessing. Brian hopes to inspire people to vote in the upcoming election. PERSONAL NOTES: I love it. It's better than a lot of the Brian/Kerry stuff as it seems a bit more...modern It fits in well with some of the recent singer songwriter camps - earnest, bordering on but never fully going cheesy.

Talon EntrySleeping On The Sidewalk. Reportedly Queen did play this at least once in the beginning of the News of the World tour and perhaps a few times, but this has never been confirmed and no recordings ever surfaced. It would be a highlight because assumedly Freddie would have taken the lead vocals as Brian was not comfortable singing lead at the time. In 1998 Brian did bring this out on his solo tour for a few performances. The only major cover I know was by Los Lobos! It's a nice cover from a very competent band. Tight craft! They win

Roger Interview about SolitaryAs exec producer, Roger is starting to do some press about the film! And he had a few things to say. The main point is that he was warning people that it was definitely background music and not much like Queen BUT there are TWO songs in the film. One in the beginning which he says was actually written by his son and daughter! (NOTE he didn't clarify WHICH son and daughter...odds would be on Rufus as the musician BUT Felix is in the film if briefly and did sing a track with Roger on a single in 2007 so it *COULD* be Felix. I have never heard of a daughter of Rog's doing anything musical) He also didn't clarify if HE performed said song or if it was a song they recorded and he used as musical director. The second song would be over the ending credits and is *HIS*. SO at LEAST ONE Roger song. BUT my pessimistic side about their productivity in their twilight years and their more recent proclivity to reuse tracks makes me think I won't be surprised if he just uses something from Fun On Earth...BUT hopefully not - Hopefully it's a new Rog track

Great to see! Even though it was expected, confirmation is nice. I am hopeful to see Las Palabras De Amor added in the setlist - though I think it would probably be in Bri's acoustic section much like Teo Toriatte was in Japan...but you never know...

Talon EntryGet Down Make Love
The band performed the funky rocker through 1982. Glen Hughes & Jake Lee
Nuno Bettencourt
Nine Inch Nails
All 3 are sultry. Glenn (from Deep Purple) has a wonderful soulful voice. Nine Inch Nails certainly have the most imaginative arrangement - Trent Reznor is brilliant even if he's not everyone's cup of tea. Nuno is one of my favorite musicians outside of Queen. He is the guitarist from Extreme (and currently is also Rhianna's guitarist whom I think she poaches some music from...listen to Stay and then listen to: Some similarities there but I digress) Anyways...back to GDML. I'm going to give it to my boy Nuno Bettencourt. He can jam, he's got a great voice considering he's not a lead vocalist (something I admire...ahem Roger...and Brian on occasion )
