^ The whole Scientology thing just creeps me out. I would bet B&R would want their music far away from any involvement - but it's not like they could stop them... In other news.... A few days ago Brian mentioned recording with Kerry. I would bet it's SOMETHING to do with the whole Common Decency project....but if it's new music I'm happy Also on Brian's site it was mentioned that sometime this year there would be a re-release of the Brian May Band's live at Brixton which was recorded in 1993 during Brian's first solo tour and released first in 1994. It'll be nice to have an update...but dare I cross my fingers and hope for a bonus gig of the known to be recorded but unreleased 1998 gig from the Royal Albert Hall? I doubt it...but maybe even some small bits of footage?

Hello everyone! I have been a lurker here since the Trespassing era started. I decided that I should perhaps finally register here before the TOH era gets rolling much farther. I probably will still mostly just lurk (twice daily), just in case I want to post something. I have no idea how proboards works so I probably will not be of much assistance keeping things rolling here with pictures, etc. But it may be fun to simply post some flail comments from time to time. I have been following Adam since the beginning on Idol. First at both MJs and Ricky's until Ricky became a hater. Then when MJ stopped covering concerts, I started checking MJs and Adamlambertlive.org every day instead, since the latter is a great source for all Adam appearances and concerts and has a great group of people posting there. However, as we all know, the concerts/appearances were not as frequent as we would like during the Trespassing era and so I started wandering over here for my daily Adam fix, since this site covers all news related to Adam and also seems to have a great group of posters of all ages and genders, as well as Queen fans (particularly appreciate Talon hanging in there with us as we flail). : Aww you people make it easy! (And I won't lie...the depth of flail is amusing if nothing else ) Welcome!

That was funny! It was picked up by everyone...except the part that he was going to star as all four roles! Ah well...

Jim Beach was honored with the Peter Grant Award for outstanding achievement in band management last night. A very humble man, he was reluctant to accept as he hates being in the spotlight. ArticleIn an interesting twist.... More on SachaWow. So all of a sudden after having dropped out over disagreements with Brian and Roger, etc. he's now back on board, writing, directing, AND starring?!?!? Not quite sure how I feel about that. a. I supported his casting originally thinking that honestly as stupid and offensive as his characters can be - his full commitment to them shows that he can be an amazing actor. b. Does this mean Brian and Roger are finally taking a back seat and not being TOO precious with the product. This could be awesome...This also could be disastrous. It's hard to believe that after both Brian and Roger kind of spoke out saying they were worried about it looking like a joke, that now they are back on board. I'm a bit worried about it now to be honest. It's a bit a case of be careful what you wish for. I did wish for Brian and Roger to step back a bit so we didn't get a Disney-fied bio...BUT starring/writing/directing is a LOT to give to Sacha...I would much prefer that Sacha acted, and maybe helped on the script. I'm not sure about him directing it...I guess we'll have to see.. WWRY II is not new news necessarily, it's actually already been workshopped! But nothing further on what's next. In a related article Brian and Roger praised Jim for his award (small Adam mention: Article

Fight From The Inside Talon EntryNever performed live by the band. Covered once on a tribute album Jack Blades (and Jake E. Lee) Jack is the singer/guitarist for Night Ranger as well as playing with Damn Yankees. His voice isn't quite as gruff as Rog's but it's not a bad effort... Of course he gets the token verdict. Verdict: Jack Blades

I can't see Brian working with Max Martin and Shellback. That's one reason I have a hard time seeing it as well. Especially since on one of Brian's last major pop appearances - Lady Ga Ga's You And I he was somewhat vocal about being disappointed how producer Mutt Lange buried Brian's guitar in the mix....Given that Mutt has a lot of previous work in rock, I would expect Max and Shellback would push it even lower...

listening again I think she says "info from Queen"...definitely not staying...definitely starts with in but I don't think it's input.
I think she's asking for any info from the Queen camp as in are they continuing to work together at some point...and the coy response is due to no announcement having been made yet.

All Dead All Dead is still unperformed live so we'll move on to
Spread Your Wings
Talon EntryThe band played it live through 1979 and then dropped. It has been covered twice... Blind Guardian
Tommy Shaw/Dweezil Zappa
Blind Guardian is a gothic metal band from Belgium and big Queen fans. Tommy Shaw sings and plays guitar in Styx as well as Damn Yankees whereas Dweezil is the son of Frank Zappa and a great guitarist himself. Both are good versions....although I'm a bit more for classic rock than the sweeping metal of Blind Guardian (who is a very talented group) SO Verdict: Tommy Shaw

she said "are you staying with queen?" I heard her ask any input from Queen? his excited response in the change in his pitch makes me think there'll be something there on the album fingers crossed I'm of the mindset of no - nothing from Queen. Although not to fan the flames there was that one interview where Brian was asked about going into the studio with Adam (for a Queen + Adam album) where he coyly replied "How do you know we haven't already" which could mean exactly that - he was in the studio with Adam but not for Queen +... That and add to the fact that Brian really is a whore (and I mean that in a good way!). If you ask him to play on your album, generally he will....so I have no doubt that if Adam wanted to have Brian on a track, he would be. BUT my initial thought is still that it will be Queen-less. As for the interview...I thought she possibly might have said any more from Queen or inspired by Queen. Really tough to tell....I do think he may have been responding to Rock In Rio being announced imminently (at that time)
