animaldoc you can order the fudge and have it delivered! I've been in Michigan for 55 years- born in Tennessee- just went to Mackinac Island for the first time 3 years ago! Like I said if he does something in the US I'm in. Hopefully he'll do another virtual concert! Thanks so much for the info, deb5anne! I think I smell some Mackinac Island fudge coming my way!

I wonder if Adam and Oliver will get each other something for Valentine's Day! It's a slow Adam news day. I got Mackinac Island fudge from a friend! OOHHH... Mackinac Island fudge! Born and raised in Michigan, and since my dad was a big boater, we cruised all the Great Lakes except for Superior. Every year my family took our boat up to Mackinac Island during July. My very favorite place in all of Michigan. The only place where there is the unique aroma of horse manure and fudge! (since no cars are allowed, for those not familiar with this enchanting place). Best fudge in the world! In fact, my DH, who is from Utah (where I met him) fell in love with the place when he experienced it for the first time. We got married in Michigan, and - you guessed it - we went to Mackinac Island on our honeymoon. Plan to go back to celebrate our 25th anniversary, which is this year. However, we've decided to postpone that trip until next year. I can't fly long distances due to health reasons, so traveling to Europe or the UK is not possible for me. But please, please, please - a Vegas residency! I'm still crushed that it had to be canceled twice last year. In the meantime, hope we get more Adam virtual concerts!

Absolutely love seeing all these meet and greets! Thanks for posting them! I only had one M&G with Adam, during the TOH tour. I was so nervous that I only remember walking towards him, and seeing those EYES. I think I blubbered something like "I love you Adam", and he was so gracious, even though I was one of many who had their minute or so with him. I don't remember putting my head on his shoulder, and him pulling me close to him with his arm around my shoulder. All I remember is the photographer emphatically saying "look at the camera!". Fortunately, I have the picture to remind me that it really happened! As my DH has said many times, Adam was taking care of me! It's my background pic on my laptop, and every time I log on, I can relive that most special experience, even though I blanked out through most of it. As I was walking out, I do remember him saying "Enjoy the show!". He is always so appreciative of his fans - one of the many, many reasons why I love him so much.
I thought both shows were fabulous - I had to leave about half way through the first show to take my sick kitty for an evaluation at a local vet clinic. I knew what was wrong with him, but needed to have a procedure done on him - as a retired veterinary pathologist I can often figure out what is ailing my special kitties, but need someone in practice to help me out. I was much more "present" for the second show, and very grateful that I decided to buy tickets to both shows. How marvelous it was to see Adam singing live in his own shows again, even if it was virtual! I thought the setlist and the band were great - wonderful to hear the slower version of IIHY, the Runnin medley, Starman, the demo version of TOH, BoRap, and finishing with "Music Again". Too many special moments during the concerts to mention! Thank you Adam, and what a gift to us in celebration of your birthday!

Watched him on Kelly's show, and thought he was wonderful! Adam is always such a charming, interesting and gorgeous person to interview. The two of them seemed to have great chemistry together - two Idol alums who understand what that experience was like. I liked Kelly's comments about her judging time on The Voice - hearing someone sing before the chairs are turned. No preconceptions about what the singer looks like, how old they are, whether they seem to be gay or straight, etc - just listening to their voice. But of course, Adam is the whole package as an entertainer. Not just the best voice on the planet, but such an extraordinary, confident and gifted performer. How lucky are we to be appreciative fans of this amazing man! (eye makeup and all!).

Hi everyone! I'm here looking for a little education -- I'm so untechy and I've never streamed anything before but I am signed up for Adam's concert on the 29!! So, here I am, looking for a little how-to advise and y'all are so bright and "with it", I know you can help. I've purchased my virtual ticket and I've saved it, but what now?? Like everyone, I'm so looking forward to hearing the concert & seeing the sure-to-impress fashions worn by that beautiful man with that amazing voice! I don't want to be learning at the last minute. I love reading all the chatter about politics, music, make up, etc. You're all so intelligent (and much younger, ha!) and I relish reading all thoughts, pro and con. Thanks in advance for any advise directed my way. 😊😊 I don't know if anybody has answered you yet or not, but I just did my soundcheck earlier today to make sure everything worked. Once you get the confirmation email from them, which should include the password, make sure you save that. You can "copy" the password, go to their website, under the time of your concert, whether 12 or 7, hit the Watch button. They'll ask for your password, paste it into the space, and it'll open to a screen. Hit the play arrow and you should see a video (no background) start with music. If you see that and hear the music, you're ok. You're soundcheck is complete. I'm assuming you repeat that same procedure the day of the concert, and at that point you'll actually be able to watch the concert rather than just getting a soundcheck. I did my soundcheck earlier today also. I am another one who is tech challenged, so I too appreciated the instructions (love Atoppers!), as I would also have been a little reluctant to hit the "Watch" button. Mine worked just fine. By the way, you don't have to copy your code if you don't want to, but can just type it in the space provided. Now hopefully everything will go smoothly for the concerts on Friday. I plan on hooking my laptop up to my big screen TV - that I've learned how to do! And so excited for "live" music again from Adam in a real venue! I wanted to also say that I found the discussion about make-up, ageism, etc very interesting. I'm another one who doesn't really like Adam in heavy make-up, the heavier beard, the shaved sides. But I love this man inside and out, (and then there is THE VOICE), so I'll accept how he wants to present himself at any given time. And yes, just wait, and he will change his "look" yet once again. Adam has always marched to his own drummer, and I really admire him for that. Just think how many times he changed his "look" on Idol! And all together it presented an exceptional, complete entertainer, one destined for a fabulous career. These are exceptionally difficult times for everyone in so many ways, and it has to be so very difficult for someone in the limelight. He's not able to perform with audiences, both solo and with Queen, which he so loves to do - it is his passion. We all have had to find ways to cope with this awful pandemic, isolation, possible depression and hardships. Adam, I think, is doing his best to find his way in any way he can. If doing make-up tutorials is one outlet, then so be it. I'll just scroll! And to touch on the subject of women in a male-oriented career world (I really appreciated your thoughts on that, Dancy), I was not encouraged to pursue a career in veterinary medicine by some of my teachers (I'm really showing my age here, as now nearly 90% of graduating veterinary classes are women). Graduated nearly 50 years ago (gulp!). Fortunately, like Adam, I had parents who were behind me 100% to pursue the career path I had chosen. I was very lucky to live in a state with a veterinary school which was a little more accepting of women in the profession (but not by much), but am proud to say that we were the first class to pass the 20% mark of women being admitted to veterinary school, and they admitted the first black woman to be in our veterinary class. In my interview, they had the audacity to say that I would just get married and not use my degree. I replied that there was no way I would not, after working so hard to achieve that goal. I know what it is like to pursue your life's passion, and am so very thankful that I had the opportunity to make it a reality. I think Adam is doing a fine job at pursuing his passion, and I love and respect him for it!!!! So what if I don't like some of his looks as well as others! I'll get off my soapbox now. And brdgt, don't leave us - I so welcome differing opinions on this site. It gives me new perspectives! And deb5anne, so glad your MRI was normal!

I bought tickets for the two shows even before I knew for sure that the second show wouldn't be a restream of the first show. Figured I would absolutely love to see the same show twice in one day if that was the case. As others have said, SO EXCITED! Even though I thought tickets wouldn't sell out to these virtual concerts, my DH commented that he saw me having a minor case of ticket angst! NOTHING but buying tickets to an Adam or QAL concert can send me spinning around in circles like this, even if these are virtual concerts. In these dark days of no live concerts, I'm so thankful that he is giving us the gift of these shows - and on his birthday, no less! How desperately we all need this to look forward to!

I bought mine before realized how long it is. I'm going to put it on my tablet at least until Adam comes on. I too am tired of the online stuff. Don't know what else he can do though. I would love a virtual concert! I think I will do the same thing. I am tired of being online (I live there now) but I need every bit of Adam I can get today! *** On a totally different front, I just got some very good professional news and the timing was nice. So, right now I feel happy like IZ's music sounds. Good for you, Q3! And thank you so much for that wonderful opening post today. It certainly is a "Mad World" right now, and I too have watched that video of Adam on Idol at least a million times! And the other two video songs that you posted were so moving and much needed. I feel totally out of sorts and depressed after yesterday's events, but we have to have hope that things will get better - both on the pandemic and on the federal leadership front. I also did not buy a ticket to the Bowie tribute for the reasons mentioned above. Hopefully Adam's performance will be posted. Thanks to all who post so many tweets, videos, interviews, etc. I'd be lost without all of you bringing all the Adam goodies here!

To hatnotits and other who have endured medical issues, good luck with your recoveries! I think it's very cool that along with our family and friends, we can get support from a fan family for a phenomenal rock star. We have each other! Looking forward to Ratatouille, too! And Adam and Oliver are such cute sweethearts. You said it well, girldrummer. Atop is certainly a wonderful fan family, and we do have each other for support! I feel so thankful that I found this site many years ago, and finally decided to become an official member with the encouragement of my DH (who is not a Glambert, but supports my obsession - I'm very lucky!). Hatnonits (love that name), I'm also a breast cancer survivor, and had a single mastectomy nearly 12 years ago. I've decided if cancer shows up on the other side, the other one comes off too. Yes, going without a bra is really comfortable, especially in my circumstance. I only wear one (with my prosthesis) when it is necessary for me to look "balanced". 2021, here we come! May it bring health and happiness to everyone, including Adam. Hopefully live concerts will be able to return!

Thank you, Q3, and all the moderators for all the work you do to keep Atop the wonderful site that it is. I don't know how I would have made it through this dark year without Adam and all the wonderful people here on Atop! I'll be so glad to see 2020 in my rear view mirror. Here's a toast to a better 2021! HAPPY NEW YEAR, everyone!

Wow, Adam never ceases to amaze me, time and time again. That is now my very favorite version of that Christmas classic. He sang it so tenderly, and how gorgeous he looked. Yes, Cassie, absolutely breathtaking! Only Adam can elicit so much emotion in me when he sings - he had me in tears once again.
