deb5anne, just catching up with yesterday's thread, and saw your health news. Sending best wishes and prayers your way that all will go well with your chemo. Yes, Adam is such a motivating force!! I was diagnosed with my breast cancer while Adam was on Idol. Every week I had something very special to look forward to during my recovery - Adam on my TV, surprising me every time with his charisma, talent, stage presence and versatility. I know that a significant part of my fanatical connection with him through all these years is a result of that time when he helped me through my cancer diagnosis and aftermath. Then, four years later, I had surgery with complications afterwards that could have threatened my life. On the night I was released from the hospital he was on Idol singing "Titanium" with Angie Miller - one of my all time favorite Adam duets. Again, he was there to help me recover. In 2014 I had another health crisis, but I managed to make it to the QAL shows in Vegas and Dallas - oh what another healing experience! He is my beacon of light always, but particularly through difficult times. I know he will also help you through these trying and uncertain times. Flying first class to Vegas in October sounds like a marvelous idea! Keep us posted on how you are doing.

As usual, it was a very frustrating time buying tickets!! My DH isn't coming with me this time. Since I wanted a single seat, many times I got the error code because it would leave a stranded seat in that row. So much wasted time trying to find single seats, and not fair for those of us who want a single seat! Many good seats weren't available for me, so I had to settle for seats in rows L and M, one each in Sections 1,2 and 3. I also didn't want to pay the extra for platinum tickets or a 60 second virtual meet and greet (an in person meet and greet would have definitely been worth the extra cost!). Going to the Wednesday show, and the last Friday and Saturday shows. But I got tickets!!! As Momtomany said, it's been a long time coming to see Adam live again!! I'm SO excited! Hopefully, these concerts won't have to be canceled and rescheduled.

Just googled it, and supposedly the presale code for a Citi card is the first six digits of you account number, no dashes. You must use the same card for the purchase.

Can anyone tell me WHERE on the fansite the presale code will be posted? Getting nervous!! It's supposed to be on our dashboard, but I'm not sure how that will show up. Notifications? To find your dashboard, go to "hub" under "fanclub", and the "read more" about Adam's Vegas concerts where there is a link to your account dashboard. So so nervous too! Also, I have a Citi card, and how does that work in a presale? Never bought tickets with a credit card presale before. How do you get that code?

So many goodies here! LOVE that richly bedazzled red Queen outfit. So royal! And the blue kind of tie-dyed pants and shirt from his solo tour is such a beauty. Suits his looks and his body so well. I know the Playmobil movie didn't do that well, but Lino is excited to work with Adam again, so many a new project will be more successful. Lino knows talent when he sees it. Sometimes I am just left breathless by this man's beauty and his lovely personality and gentle soul. Grammys or no Grammys. Again, Lady M, thanks so much for all the wonderful pics!! I took the picture which is my avatar at his solo TOH tour in Denver (also when I had my only meet and greet with Adam - thankfully I have a picture to prove it, as I totally blanked out when Adam was next to me!). I also love that tie-dyed pants and shirt combo. As I love SO many of his outfits!! Yes, I agree, girldrummer, Adam just leaves me breathless. It's amazing that I'm still breathing!

Awwww, so sorry, Mszue. But I bet you look pretty with your makeup on...maybe treat yourself to lunch out? I was kind of surprised when I heard that you were going to be part of the audience. I had assumed it would be just for UK people. Thanks svca. I was surprised too...but I had not hidden anything when I filled out the forms....:(
No lunch....we are locked down again....and it is too rainy and ugly to eat outside. We had to lock down to discourage tourists. It is that time of year when everyone decides this is a great spot to take a COVIDation! We do not even have an ICU in our little hospital and this is no place for folks to share their viral gifts....like they wish to do. Pretty scary what people are willing to do to 'outsiders'. Look at what is happening to India!! so sad....
So, so disappointed for you, Mszue. I was really hoping that you would be a part of that virtual audience! How frustrating to let you believe you were an "in", and then poof! - the opportunity disappears. I bet you looked fabulous! I still remember how lovely you looked when my DH and I met you at the Adamtopia get-together in Vegas, and you are so much fun to be around. Sorry to hear that you are in lockdown again, but it makes sense from the tourist perspective. It certainly is scary what people are willing to do when it's not their community. Stay well!

I've had my two Pfizer vaccinations, and had a negative reaction to both shots. I usually have the unusual side effects to drugs, foods, vaccines, etc, mostly because I have a mast cell disorder (mast cells are important immune system cells). I had bad GI side effects (mainly diarrhea and abdominal cramps, no nausea), especially with the first shot. Took some prophylactic antidiarrheal meds before the second one, which helped. In doing some reading, turns out that about 10% of Pfizer vaccine recipients report diarrhea as a side effect, but they classified their symptoms as mild. Mine would be in the moderate category - about 1% reported that degree (leave it to me to be in the 1% group!). More reported nausea instead of diarrhea with the Moderna vaccine. I had terrible fatigue from both shots and just felt lousy, which lasted about a week. No fever, chills, muscle aches (except a sore arm at the vaccination site). The people giving the shots recommended getting your vaccine in your dominant arm, and move that arm a lot after your vaccination. I really think that helped with my sore arm. My DH had the Pfizer vaccine, and had mild fatigue from both shots which lasted only about a day or two. No fever or chills. He had a really sore arm both times, but was not given the advice to move his arm a lot (he was vaccinated before me due to his underlying condition of moderate to severe asthma). I am very relieved to have had both of my shots!!
Oh, I too am still lamenting the loss of Adam's Vegas residency! I had tickets to three of the shows, and I am desperately hoping that Adam will plan another one as his schedule allows after live shows are a possibility again. I so enjoyed the Queen Vegas residency (went to three shows), and would be overjoyed if they did another one. Am I remembering correctly that Brian said he really didn't enjoy that residency as much as regular touring? However, the landscape of live shows has certainly changed due to this horrible pandemic, so maybe Queen will consider another Vegas residency. Hopefully QAL's summer tour will be possible. Adam, I want to see you perform live again, solo or with Queen!!

ladyM, thank you for posting so many lovely pictures and videos - always makes my day!!
Had my first vaccination last Monday. NM is slow to vaccinate those in the 60-74 age range, putting others ahead of this age group. Being a second home homeowner in Colorado, I was able to go up to Colorado and get my vaccination there where they have opened it up to anyone 60 and older (and I'm over 70!). Had a rather significant reaction to my first shot - sore arm, fatigue, GI distress, which lasted until today. Not surprising, since I have many allergies and an underlying mast cell condition (mast cells play an important role in the immune system). But much better than getting Covid, and beginning to feel a sense of relief. Not sure how I will react to my second shot (got the Pfizer). Hoping all Atopers who haven't been vaccinated will be able to get it soon, including those of you in Europe. And hoping Adam will be vaccinated soon if he hasn't already received his first shot. A definite light at the end of this very long tunnel.
And I also love Overglow!
Happy Passover to all who are celebrating!

Q3, thanks so much!! I so appreciate all your efforts to keep Atop going. My daily "fix", often repeated during the day!
So loved the darling pictures of Pharaoh, and the pics of the goose and puppy are so heartwarming. Yes, we can learn so many valuable lessons from our animals. And the pics of Adam - swooning again!

Chrome wouldn't let me in. It blocked the site saying it was unsafe so I tried my Microsoft browser and that's how I got to ProBoards so if anyone is running Chrome they might be having the same issues. Not just Chrome. Safari on my iPad and Firefox on my Mac blocked it too, saying the domain name had expired and/or the certificate was no longer valid. For what it's worth, I was able to get in using Chrome.
