Yup, I am watching #3 as well. It opened fast -- although I can't believe I am up in the middle of the night my time to watch a TV show in China--LOL!

Since I live in a city with a large and vibrant Chinese and Asian population, I'm going to have to go out and find some moon cakes today! The full moon is beautiful, too.

That's the nature of the press and media in general. My local news is downright depressing. It's like nothing good is ever going on in a city area of almost a million people. A really good novel addresses this ..It's Called' THe Shipping News.'. I've heard good things about The Shipping News -- thanks for the recommendation. I used to date a newspaper reporter who had interesting things to say about news reporting -- including his favorite phrase about local news, "if it bleeds, it leads". Gives one pause...

I'm so happy for all our NZ fans! Yay! Also, Adam was fabulous tonight at the 9:30 club (as usual) and so articulate (as usual) and such a DORK (as usual!). Love him!

Um...yeah! That's hardly less than it usually takes to get a #1. Pink has had to fight her way with record producers ,etc. to be herself and to make her own music.. She has quite the life story of rebellion and hell raising too. I love Pink ,but IMHO she's never had the fame of a Madonna, a lady Gaga, RIRI, Xtina in the U.S. market. Not to say that she isn 't loved here ,she is .she just never had the OTT fame. She has always sung to the beat of her own drummer, from what I have read and from watching her biography on TV.. She really is more popular in Australia,NZ Germany ,etc. In many ways Her individuality and refusal to blend in& conform reminds me of Adam.I've never thought Adam was like Gaga, who is also a very unique &does her own thing artist .I always thought of Adam more like Pink because there seems to be more honesty more from the gut songs.. they seem more real ,more willing to show themselves. Exactly this!

All this discussion of foxes, wolves and blue eyes made me think of my sister's beautiful dog Kona. He's an all white husky with pale blue eyes and he's a stunner (and he knows it, too--although mostly he is hilarious). Here are a couple of photos... I love Adam with dark and light hair, but I like the "lightness" the silver hair brings him.

OT (for those who might enjoy some diversion in between Trespassing videos) About Brandi Carlile because NoAngel tweeted about her and her song 'The Story' which I happen to like too. Brandi shares the ideology with Adam in hoping to provide an example for the LGBT youth to pursue their dreams. I came to know her music from Grey's Anatomy musical episode early 2011 where Sara Ramirez sang her song The Story. Sara who plays Callie (lesbian character on the show) shares Adam's musical theatre background and strong interpretation (also the smile in live performances ). On Brandi's marriage www.glaad.org/blog/brandi-carlile-and-catherine-shepherd-tie-knotBrandi Carlile The Story www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8pQLtHTPaISara Ramirez The Story www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUS4OpDbCsE&feature=related Ooohhh another fan of Brandi Carlisle! I love her music and The Story is a wonderful song. She really has a way with lyrics and melody. Oh and she's from Seattle (where I live) so she must be cool! Heh. BTW, marriage equality is on our ballot this November in Washington, and I hope it passes. If it does, I will be singing at my cousin's wedding in December when he marries his partner of 26 years! Woot!
