[/IMG]
Double Whoa! I bet the station tweeted it to Adam. That is one excellent production of that performance, so impressed! It sounds so much better than the one we saw earlier. This Live Lounge knows they have something really special, and did a fantastic job on it! Adam looks so amazing, so joyful, so happy and practically glowing! IJLHSFM

Glamberts we can do better than that!
maybe we should spend our time tweeting out this link to
1) get hits 2) get Trespassing name out 3) have something to do...........

First off, RCA cannot pay off Clearchannel, because there is no such thing as payola anymore. Clearchannel got heavily fined and has vowed not to be caught taking any money. Actually it is illegal to take payola. We all know the jingle balls, etc and radio concerts are payola, but in a different form. Adam did the tour the first time around and did everything right, but many stations did not play him. Adam is caught between a rock and a hard place becasue radio spins and rotation has a lot to do where sales are at on itunes, and requests from listeners. So if a song is not being spun, no exposure and no sales. Radio can play as dumb as they want and we as listeners can't do a thing. But if you have a few successful songs, that guarantees spins. Bruno had success, and every song he put out they played. Same with Katy Perry. OK, so no payola, but there has got to be a way to talk these PD's into playing that song, maybe their upper management bosses can come down on them to get the song in rotation. These PD's are not Gods, although I think some of them think they are. They are just people with their own ideas about what is popular. Perfect example, Adele, as has already been mentioned. What about that song "Fireflys" that made it to the top? What a silly little song that was, and a one hit wonder. There are lots of examples of atypical songs that made it to the top. Then here we have Adam's songs, that are really really good, and his voice is amazing, and they are not playing him. They are STUPID. NCOE should have been an instant hit, the perfect combo of writing/singing/production. Maybe the upper management of the BIG radio syndicates could come in and intervene. That would take some "smoozing" on the RCA upper management's part, but this is done all the time in other industries, just saying............ But, I really know nothing about Radio and play, just what I hear played, and JMHO.

Oh, I know, I know! I know why nica knows who TS is ` She was on AMA, accepting her awards via satelite for "Entertainer of the Year" or something right before Adam went on..................... Nah, you would have to know something about Swiftie and all the music awards shows to know that she was winning everything and anything for the whole year. You would also have to have some knowledge about the other entries for the awards vs Taylor Swift's music to know if Kanye was right or not. If not, how would one know that Taylor wasn't the best in those categories she was nominated for? Nah, you would just have to have been around back then on the board and listenting to everyone talk about TS, and WTF is going on that she was winning all these awards...........

Kind of a shame that the "new" news about Adam/AI has overshadowed the discussion about the new single.
I shall take up the challenge, Q
If I was the CEO of RCA, the first thing I would do is pay out some PD's and get NCOE on the air. Or, pay out ClearChannel and the other big syndicate that owns all the stations. I mean, come on! NCOE is charting #6 for dance music, surely all these peeps at the clubs loving this song also listen to radio? Surely they recognize the potential of this song from the #1 album......... It really seems like there is some conspiracy to NOT play Adam's singles. I liked BTIKM, and I like NCOE, they are both good songs. Just got to wonder, with all the sucess Adam has had with this album, charting at #1, the great and at least good reviews, plus his touring with Queen, what is it going to take to get his music on the radio? Radio GAGA!!!!!!! Reminds me of Queen and how they couldn't get played on American radio for quite a while...........
I really don't understand how this song is NOT being played!
For the next single, I would go with Trespassing. I think it could link back to the name recognition of the #1 sales position of the album from Billboard (when it came out) and I think that a lot of kids would really resonate with the theme of the song. Also, many reviewers said it reminded them of "Another one Bites the Dust" and Adam just finished touring with Queen. Although, I would really hate for Adam to do another round of radio promo, but there is plenty of PR to tie into Trespassing as the next single, so that makes sense to me. I think Cuckcoo would aso be great, and Naked Love would also be great, but it is so much the same type of "pop friendly" tune that NCOE was, and that hasn't gotten played, so who knows?

Hi there all you moonies!
I am home alone for the first time since May of this year, we have had my mom here, my brother-in-law, then my son home from college for two months, plus my oldest grandchild, and then my older son and his family of four children, plus DIL's dad were all here last weekend. Hubby has gone out of town for the week, so I finally have time to spend on Adam (although just a little bit, there is so much upkeep to do after all the company we have had, and yardwork, cause we got rain last week, YAY!).
I have enjoyed all the posts and inspiration here, and yesterday and today I was thinking about Adam, and what it is that makes me so enthralled/head over heels crazy about him. Who hasn't questioned their own sanity when it comes to stanning Adam? He is such a wild child, and such a mover and shaker, and the recent "new do" caused quite the conversation.
I think that Adam is teaching me about unconditional love.
Giving and/or showing unconditional love is difficult. The closest I think we come (I use "we" as a general term here) is in loving our own children, (or our parents when we were children). Even that is hard, as sometimes what they choose to do with or in their lives makes it very hard not to pass unfavorable judgement on. In my family, of 5 kids (his, mine and ours), we are completey estranged from one, and temporarily "not communicating with" another.
My mom, who will be 90 in Jan., comes to visit me for 3 weeks every year. All of her friends ask her "how can you bear to spend that much time with your daughter?" Many of her friends have little or no relationship with their grown children. But for us it is easy, because my mom loves me unconditionally. This was not always true in my past, especially during my "wild child" years of the early 70's. I did some things that she just couldn't handle. But now, my mom never says an unkind word to me, she never judges me, and she always gives me love and support, she lifts me up and makes me feel very special. She is a joy to be with, and quite lively and fun for her age. Maybe she has just mellowed with age and also maybe it helped that I finally grew up....................
When my older boy was a teen, he went through some very tough times, and was in trouble. I wrote down the words to this song and sent them to my son, it is the best I can do in describing what my understanding of unconditional love is:
Alanis Morissette "You owe me nothing in return"
And now back to Adam Fucking Lambert, the outrageous, flamboyant, non filtered, honest to a fault, and F*CK you if you don't like it, most amazing person on the planet: AFL the charming, uber talented, intelligent, beautiful sweet old soul:
I Just Love Him So F*cking Much!!! I don't care what he wears, what he does, what he says, how he says it, who he does/says it with, etc, etc to the Nth degree. I am a card carrying member of team #adamcandowhateverthef*ckhewantsandIwillloveit! And him.
I love AFL unconditionally, that is all. ^^^^^Just does not matter what he.....(see above)^^^^^
And I don't even know this man, I have never met him, and doubt that I ever will.
Now, how can I emmulate/project/transfer onto/ or just plain FEEL the same kind of feelings/affection that I have for Adam to/for the other important people in my life? If I could learn how to unconditionally love my __________ (spouse, child, parent, friend, relative) the way I love Adam, that would really be something.
I am working on it............................................ Tonight I will pick up the phone and "communicate"
Thanks Adam, for all you inspire in me, for what you teach by living your life honestly and fearlessly. I am grateful for the light you have brought into the world.
