I'm back from my amazing vacay in UK, so much to catch up on in Adamland.
I don't have anything to contribute to the Moon Garden, but wanted to check in. I really enjoyed all the music posted by sugaree and junie in the last few pages.
Where is everybody?
Junie - love your post above, I had not heard of PSY Gangnam Style, pretty silly, but incredible # of views.

Greetings Adamtopians!
Wow, so much to catch up on after being off the grid for over 2 weeks.
Loved the Voice of China performance Adam did, and very cool that he was asked to be on their Finale show.
I missed the RoveLA show last night, have any YT appeared yet?
In other news, I finally got my Fault Magazine of Adam, and I have an extra, if anyone is interested, please pm me.
Since I am just back from London, let me share what I learnt accross the pond.
Regarding the possible/probable angst over adds............
Keep calm and carry on.

It's so calming over here ... thank you all for keeping this thread alive. I wasn't looking for a fight, that's why I labeled it 'political' 3 times and said 'don't click on the link if you're not interested in that.' I've obviously made a grievous error to the Atop rules. Time to leave. I'm so sorry you were offended. : I hope you see this. You did not offend me, that video did. There is no need for you to leave Atop, it is a wonderful place with wonderful people, and you are one of them. I think that most of us have broken a rule here at one time or another, it is no big deal. In fact, one of the primary rules is to not tell other people what is appropriate to post, and I broke that one in my response to your post. I didn't mean to chase you away, and I hope you will rejoin and enjoy all the fabulosity of AFL. Please come back. |

Hope you are well, and so good to see you posting on the board.
I'm leaving in 2 days for vacay in Scotland/England, my first overseas trip, and first 2 week vacation since my honeymoon 30 years ago. DH will stay home and hold the fort, I will be traveling with my sis. Will spend a couple of days with my BFF UK Glambert, she's going to show me all the places that Adam has performed in London. I am so excited!

2 days till I leave for my trip to Scotland/England, where I will be taking the first 2 week vacation I have had since my honeymoon 30 years ago. Junie, sorry I missed your BD, hope it was grand, and glad you have a new bunny buddy.

PLEASE people, and isitjustme, lets keep politics off of this site. I would NOT call this brilliant, I would call it insulting. I could say a lot of things about it, but I am not going there. I don't want to feel insulted, and I don't want to talk politics and I don't want to see biases like this, or political views/messages or anything about candidates or anything to do with the election on this site. I come here to celebrate Adam. IMO, there are other places for this "brilliant parody", and the Moon Garden is not the place, not here. Also, I would like to say that I am not looking for a fight, I just don't want to see any political messages on Adamtopia. Q has already banned them on the Daily Thread, I think it is an excellent rule. What we all have in common is our love for Adam. We come from different places, and we have different views on many things. Let's keep it focused on the amazing Adam Fucking Lambert. Please, and thank you. |

Dallas 102.9 NOW has played One Republic twice, Linkin Park twice, and Maroon 5 twice, Katy Perry and Kelly Clarkson twice since I have been listening. I wonder if they will play another Adam song?
I hope so!
Does anyone know what the difference is between their online program and what they play on the air?
eta: did anyone that was listening remember to click the thumbs up for Trespassing? I didn't, bad fan!

Thanks Q ~ Does Grammy nomination depend on radio play? I would not think so, because there are so many categories of music that receive nominations. We know that Trespassing was critically acclaimed and got stellar reviews from most critics, so hopefully the Grammy committees will listen to this music, and not pay attention to the fact that it didn't get a lot of radio play, What do you think, Q?eta: I would love it if Adam got several Grammy noms (which I think would be well deserved) and radio had to sh*t all over themselves to play catch up. Please excuse the vulgarity, but what other phrase is more appropriate? Sorry way late in answering and hope you see this..... I hope Adam gets the two important nominations for Pop artists... Best Pop Solo Performance Best Pop Vocal Album This category is Pop as in Popular -- so yes, commercial success matters -- sales and/or airplay and/or online streaming media.
