Since the notice date appears to have been around May 2017, the ASCAP camp was after that date. So probably not Warners. If May 2017 is the correct notice date, then Adam's move is not related to the RCA management moving to WBR as that happened in Sep 2017. But that's when he had to give notice he was moving on. Didn't have to give notice of who he was moving on to, may not have known or maybe the management contracts have time periods too. I don't remember on the last move if everything happened during the same year but it seemed the move included both label and management fairly close together.

@lurleene it's definitely a matter of taste, absolutely.
I just really don't like this "everything used to be better"...it just wasn't.
Also with new mediums allowing more people to pursue/start/make music you can tap into a wider of creativity.
The video to me was just very one-sided and I found it simply denouncing to todays artists.

Good music is a matter of opinion. I think some of the music today is good and some not so good. But wish US radio would play more than the same acts all the time with everything they release. Wish the award shows would too. But I never understood the idea that if someone did not like an act or their music it is because they are getting more attention than Adam. They always have and will receive more attention than Adam, good or bad. Do we all want Adam to get more attention? Yes. Do we think he is one of the most talented singer and performers out today? Yes. But there were singers who got a lot of attention that I did not view as very talented before I ever heard of Adam Lambert. Sometimes people don't all like the same music or acts and they voice that. Has little to do with Adam. But I do think a lot of talent (by many artists) is not being highlighted and celebrated while some mediocre singers and acts are being pushed to the front. Others love the music landscape as it is. Just different opinions and tastes in music. Experience? The comparison happens too often. I totally agree that people can like or dislike other artists without it being a reflection of jealousy for Adam. But too often the dislike comes with vitriol which is magnified beyond "not my type". So much of it depends on how it's presented during the conversation. Are there other comparisons where the person likes an artist who is in direct competition with Adam? Is it during a pile on because the other artist did something?
