I don’t think, Javi dyes his hair. He has pictures on is Instagram profile from 5-6 years or so back and always had the same hair color. But as a little kid he was blond. He must be one of these people, who start their life as blondes and change during childhood to the dark hair color. Plus he has that dark chest hair....lol From his latest IGs looks like he might be at the SoHo House from the view eastward plus the greenery. Just a guess. That was my guess as well. The second story from inside fits as well.

But why is that sad that the fandom liked and streamed ALN more? We like what we like, and trying to predict a "hit" song is like a crap shoot. Some of the songs played on the radio are only played, I'm sure, because they're by a specific singer, not because they're so wonderful and so popular. It's all a game. ALN was a crappy 2nd single. That's why. It went nowhere except in the US. I personally believe TOH would have done a lot better. It was also doing better in streaming after the first initial fan boost. Which meant it was catching on to the casual fan as well. ALN killed the chance of another single. As a rock music fan from my deepest soul, I love a song that has a strong melody that really pulls me through the whole song with lots of momentum. I like a strong hook that makes me sing along without even thinking about it. I don't like songs that have a weak, mushy middle. The middle of a song should as interesting as the chorus. The music should flow from one part of the song to the next with a real strength that keeps my attention. Even ballads should not be lazy. Each song should have the power to make you feel it through your whole body until the melody and lyrics are solidly planted there. That's a song that becomes a hit, IMO. Hits are songs that you cannot let go. They are in your head and heart forever. I hope Adam's next single pulls me really hard from its first note to its last. I hope it's a song that isn't a chore to get used to. It should be appealing from the get-go. A true hit should make you really feel it right away.

I didn’t really like it either. And as you said: the context is missing. Alisan‘s original post of the picture at least gave a tiny bit of context. Adam’s none at all. So what’s the message? We don’t really know. The fact that the context was missing in Adam's post made the gesture even worse for me. Not all fans connect the dots and sort of get it, and I can only assume that some feel offended. I certainly was taken aback even though I felt that the gesture was not directed at me as a fan. His IG post has a little less than 24K likes now... not one of his most celebrated ones. I agree that there is no need to be vulgar. I don't like it either and everytime he does it, I cringe a little bit. I saw a couple of folks on my Twitter feed thinking he was telling his fans to fuq off. I never thought that....just don't like to see it. I started to bring a post over from K.Wimpelberg where she did a collage of all the "bird shots".....but didn't want to draw more attention to that history.

I listen to Sirius Hits 1 Radio a lot, and love pop music, always have. I really thought ALN was going to be a hit song, it seemed to fit radio to me - not that it was my favorite though I do like it. I thought it was the better choice for US radio over TOH, and was so sad it went nowhere. Later on I thought maybe TOH would have had a better chance because of its uniqueness, but I think it was going to be a long shot anyway. And after it's poor performance in AUS, why would they risk it? :(

SNL would be great. Halsey was host and musical guest a few weeks ago and she did a great job. Adam could do the same when his new music comes out. I seem to remember after Idol, there were discussions about SNL but the show wanted to focus on gay, gay, gay. I hope we've moved on a society since then and that would not be the sole focus.I don't know a lot about Halsey but both her albums went platinum in the US and she has #1 singles and gold and platinum singles. She gets a ton of US radio play and has won Iheart and Billboard awards. She had a #1 album on the alternative chart and her last album came in at #1 on the Billboard 200. But her label is listed as Astralwerks? Is that an indie lablel? If it is, that is good news, I guess, cause it would mean that some can deliver. But I can see why she got the hosting gig as she has been doing great these last few years and not off the radio. I saw her perform on The Voice and her single and delivery did not do much for me. But it went #1 because it was played a ton and not because it was groundbreaking great, imo. I agree. There is no need to focus so heavily on Adam's sexuality now. I hope they did not get the guy from 20/20 to revisit the subject of his first interview with Adam. That would be disappointing.

Wow, I didn't realize that Javi had such blue eyes! I wonder if he dyes his hair like Adam. Eyes, Baby eyes: Adam and Javi Wow. Two sets of heavenly eyes. Can we assume that they have gazed into each others' eyes a bit?

I hope they did not get the guy from 20/20 to revisit the subject of his first interview with Adam. That would be disappointing. I don't know a thing about Halsey, but good grief, she's sure got a lot going for her right now! Everything is working all at once. I don't even know what kind of music she sings or if she has a good voice. She obviously has great label and promo support and is doing all the right things. She certainly has the cred to appear on, and host, SNL. But I've seen hosts and musical guests that have a pretty wide range of "cred" on that show, both high and low. So it isn't beyond possible that Adam would get his shot at some point. Hope Shosh's little comment wasn't just empty conversation. And I guess I'm in the small minority who barely noticed and didn't react much at all to Adam's "gesture." I don't think there was a big message behind it. It could have meant, "Hey, don't take my picture," for all we know. I guess I just didn't think it was any big deal. Considering all the lewd, rude and crude stuff that we are faced with so often, I didn't find this one much at all.
