brdgt very good point! I wouldn't say Adam doesn't care for his fans but as i said i just don't think it's unreasonable to Hope/Wish for/expect some sign from him. Which doesnt mean i don't love and support him anymore either. I personally don't care about how much Adam posts on social Media other than someone upthread said business wise. If having digital detox time is needed for his sanity, his creativity etc. Than more power to him.

Been reading the "debate". Could someone point me in the direction of an artist doing "the right thing" on insta or other social media? It seems Brian May posts his political views, whether it is on brexit or animal rights, and that's all cool, but if Adam Lambert posts about US politics and what's currently wrong, that is noted as inappropriate, that he can't express his political views.

I’m not sure but it’s seems that most of you are much older than me but for my generation sm activity is very important this is the way we communicate with the world so artists who barely use it become less interesting. I’ve recently started following Brian May he’s over 70 and his ig is personal and engaging but not about his private life. Adams ig is boring his Twitter is even worse. Without youngsters his music won’t go anywhere no offence to older generation but this is reality. He should have known that so imo he doesn’t care. He will have more motivation without millions on his bank account. There are many teen Idols out there if that is of great interest to anyone. Yes Adam does have millions in his bank account. Adam made his millions on each of his solo tours and more millions fronting Queen. Thank the Universe for that. It is money he earned and no one gets to take it from him because they think he is boring on social media. If anyone truly believes that he does not care then they are not forced to follow or care about him. Social media is important and he uses it as he pleases. Fans on non-fans can't force him to do more than he chooses to do. Maybe some should find another hobby or form of entertainment. But it is delusional to think that social media and not hard work put those millions in his bank account. It was his talent, charisma, and showmanship along with his good looks, lol. His fans love him. So I would not worry so much about him and his career. He'll be fine.

The dude is 48, so he didn’t grow up on smedia, but he engages his fans on Instagram big time! No politics there, mostly music, touring, family and charity causes. That’s the only name I can offer - I can only wish Adam were half as active ...

It's kind of depressing to me how quickly some so-called "fans" turn on an artist. And I'm not really talking about the regular posters here. Logging off for tonight. Love our guy, hope he's feeling better.

Um - I don't think Adam is playing to youngsters, whatever that is. His single was released to HAC. Adult Contemporary. I swirl though Sirius stations to hear what is playing and when I can to the NYC HAc stations. ( It's tough, I commute 40 nukes each way. If he suspended promo to get traction for CTY, I'm fine.

I can see that QAL is probably Adam's peaceful space. None of this stress of pleasing fans required. I know I've been stressed reading this board for the last month. Stressing for album placement, stressing for adds, stressing for appearances.
Ha - i wrote that 4 or 5 hours ago and it seems the board has had major discussions without me even posting.
For me Adam has posted on Twitter or Instagram at least every other day. He posted a pic with him and Times Square just back on the 27th so it's only been three weeks but I guess that was still work related. But in the meantime he's been playing with songs, making Instagram snippets for some, putting out full length videos of all the songs (even if they were just photos), putting out live CTY, reposting info for the shows he did make it on, planning for this EU promo. To me it seems he's active as hell.
On Empire and CDs, I imagine they had no idea what the draw of glamberts would be for that. Don't know if any of their other clients do CDs at all. And I think they are headquartered in San Fran so that means shipping for signed copies. Like everyone else they'll learn expectatations.
Now it could be personality types. I've just got done reading and deciding on my Myers-Briggs personality and all this "sharing" is decidedly not comfortable for me. For other personality types my companionable silence is seen as a friendship-ending freeze out.
