I was delighted that Adam gave a shout out to Laverne Cox. I wish I knew what inspired him to do it at that moment. We are almost finished watching Orange is the New Black. It is a fantastic show. Maybe he is watching it too! We have heard interviews on NPR with those involved with the show and it is fascinating to hear some of the back stories. Quality television, too bad only available to Netflix subscribers. Thanks. Just added it to my Netflix streaming queue. I had never heard of the show prior to Adam's tweet and I haven't liked some of the shows he liked so I didn't automatically check it out. DH and I don't have cable and survive off of Netflix streaming and Amazon Prime. Feel free to PM me if you have any other Netflix streaming recommendations. BTW, I am currently watching "Long Way Around" on Netflix streaming. Highly recommend. "Join actor friends Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman for a 20,000-mile, 115-day motorcycle journey across the world from London to New York. When not fighting the elements or rough terrain, the pair take in local culture around the globe."

agree. imo wwfm is the last and unfortunately the only song "known" to the masses in the US...as far as relevance is concerned I am hoping that Avicii collab would bring a change...but im afraid his fans do not care about vocals...still there is hope, especially if it becomes a single... my DD went to Electric Zoo yesterday and she was at the end of Avicii set. im waiting to talk to her and get her impression, i just txted her that the last one was w Adam, but no response so far. (prbbly rolling her eyes...) quoting myself for continuity... Just spoke to my DD and got her report from the Electric Zoo Festival: 1) They had 5 stages, Avicci was on one of the two main stages. By the time LMD was playing all the other stages were done, so most of the attendees were at the Avicci stage (that was the reason she+friends ended up there as well) and he pretty much closed the day with the LMD! The song sounded awesome and everyone was dancing like crazy. She loved the song! 2) The festival program does not list the songs but rather the DJs only. So, unless one knows the artist and their songs there is no way to find out what they are paying. Had I not told her about Adam+Nile collab she wouldn't have noticed, but she did say that she was sure Avicci fans knew who was on which song. She also thought it was a "new" song at wich point I impressed her by telling her the name of the album and the drop date Thanks for letting us know what your DD said. From the various videos I've seen of LMD, I could never really tell if the crowd liked it. Glad your DD loved it!

I'm still pretty impressed by how similiar their facial features are. Its really hard to tell that both sides arent Adam. I wish they would show the original avicci pic for this as I have not been able to find it. Whoa - I'm late to the party. That's a composite? Freaky karma. Adam definitely has him beat in the hair department. Avicii looks like he's going bald. DH had a similar hairline in his early 20s.

Apparently, he has a whole website dedicated to his nose!! really? wow...and that nose is not even close to our nose on perfection scale! Adam can have a whole website dedicated to every part of his body - eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth, cheekbones, hair, profile, GB, ass, legs, chest, arms, hands, etc. I am not kidding, I have never seen someone with so many perfect physical features. And to top it off he is model tall at 6' 1". I have a thing about height. When I think of perfect male specimen, I always think of someone at least 6 feet. I looked up the height of a lot of these heart throbs, like Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Jared - Adam is taller than all of them! Oh and he has perfect posture too.

I didn't like Harry Connick, Jr. when I saw videos of him mentoring on Idol. I felt he was trying too hard to be clever/cutesy and it felt a little disingenuous. He seemed to want all the focus to be on him. Anyway, JMO...I know a lot of people probably like him. I showed my Glambert in training friend that pic of Adam and Jared. She could not believe that was Jared. She said he doesn't look as good as his other pictures but she said Adam looked hot AS USUAL. I personally find Adam more beautiful - like his upper lip, eyes, eyebrows, bone structure and height better. BTW, in the comments under the picture on Jared's blog, one of his fans (Ari) didn't know who Adam was so she looked him up. People are giving her recommendations on videos to look at. In case you want to add any more, here is that link jaredleto.com/thisiswhoireallyam/2013/08/28/notes-from-the-outernet-photo-me-adam-lambert-at-the-vmas-photographed-by-terry-richardson/ She said "He is causing lots of excitement here " Hope he gets a few new fans out of that picture.

Not sure if this has been posted. Probably just some unimportant fashion blog, but still nice to see a positive review of his outfit. www.cefashion.net/celebrity-fashion-spotlight-the-2013-vma-awards/One guy who was rock and roll ready was Adam Lambert. He wore a cool steel blue tuxedo that had a reptile-like printed jacket with thin lapels, and a one-button closure. The trousers had almost a tie-dye effect with the mix of the darker and lighter tones. Adam topped off the look with a funky pair of platform grey leather shoes with contrasting soles and trim. He rocked this Red Carpet in style.
The article also mentions Robin's belly bulge, which I had noticed also. I was thinking to myself, thank goodness Adam doesn't have one of those any longer.

Apologies if this has already been posted.
Maggie La Ragy @maggielaragy 3h @milestougeaux Do you think I offended Adam by sending wine to his room in Paso Robles? Just surprised by his silence...
Miles Tougeaux @milestougeaux 3h @maggielaragy you can never offend a Lambert with gifts of alcohol.
Maggie La Ragy @maggielaragy 3h @milestougeaux Hmmm....Guess he's just too busy to respond.
Miles Tougeaux @milestougeaux 3h @maggielaragy might have been lost in the shuffle
Maggie La Ragy @maggielaragy 3h @milestougeaux Perhaps. We sent it to his room as we were staying at the same hotel.

Btw , Was Adamtopia up and running (Well , I guess it was PF at that time) When the AMA's happened ? How many pages did the thread go ? LOL !! And , whether it was up and running , or not , how was YOUR reaction (After the initial "WTAF just happened" moment) . I wasn't a Glambert back then , So I didn't watch live . And when I googled Adam Lambert , read thru his Wiki page , read about the controversy of that performance , and THEN I watched it on youtube . I didn't get to experience the "Shock" . I already knew what he did cuz I read it on Wikipedia first , LOL . So , Glamberts who experienced the live thing , what was your HONEST first reaction ? (We all love Adam here , we are All Glambert , and we are a Glamily . Share your true feelings here , nobody is gonna judge) I remember being horrified. I was actually camping, and from the campsite, we drove to a casino that had a TV in the bar just to see him. I was shocked at not only the suggestive dance moves, but the anger and the bad singing. I guess I had never seen suggestive moves like that in any previous music award shows, simply because I don't really watch them (for example, I never saw the show where Pink did a similar move). My DH said he didn't think the singing was that bad and that he was not given the credit for the difficult runs that he did do. He didn't seem to be as bothered (he is from the UK) and a good friend of mine from NY said she didn't see what the big deal was. I remember crying that evening, wondering if Adam has ruined his career. Deep down inside, I am still feeling like it did hurt his career. I remember being pleasantly surprised though that his initial album sales were still high. And although he lost fans I think he gained some who would have never heard of him before. BTW, I cry over Adam quite often. I've never been a stan of anyone so it's very odd that some stranger can evoke such emotion in me. The part about the Miley thing that really bothered me was the grinding with Robin Thicke. I think it's more because he's old enough to be her father. It just made me go "Ewwww".
