Contrarian means "against the grain", taking a position opposite popular opinion. In many ways, I'm a contrarian. heathcliff, in yesterday's thread you said "But a good-looking gay man is seen as competition." Are you implying that gay men think Adam is good-looking? Because from comments I've seen from gay men on the internet, they seem to think he's ugly, and that Kris was the "hot" one. I guess I just don't know how representative those comments are of the community in general. I certainly can't understand how anyone of either sex could not think Adam is good-looking. He seriously looks like a male model. I think the ones that say so just hate him so they have to find something to criticize.

You've got to be kidding. Nothing special about JT's outfit at all. Adam's was so unique. Who the heck else could pull off a silk jacquard suit and those funky shoes? And although I liked JT's performance yesterday and think he's very talented, I've never thought he was an attractive man. In fact, hate to be mean, but I remember seeing a picture of him and Adam together and I remember thinking how much better looking Adam was than he was. Judge for yourself. ETA: As you can tell, I am getting really pissed off on how Adam is being ignored or treated badly. First T & L, now GQ, both who have treated Adam like crap. I need to take some deep breaths and think karma, karma. I don't think Adam needs both of them to make it in his career, since he's not a model or not. Adam's fashion style is forward and not for everybody and not many people can wear what he wears and look absolutely amazing. He wore his Lanvin suit with that unusual Singapore designer shoes. It works for him but don't think it will work for others. I know that but we're talking about a music awards show with mostly musicians where clearly Adam stood out as being one the best dressed. There were some guys that looked like a mess, like Jared Leto and the guy with him in a plaid shirt. Wasn't Pharell wearing cut-off shorts? I am just surprised that Adam is picked out by T & L and criticized for everything - his hair, his shoes, his jewelry, his shirt, his makeup (when he was hardly wearing any), etc. Seems like there were tons of other men there that deserved far more criticism than Adam. And we're talking VMAs, where I thought people were supposed to dress outrageous. I really think those guys have some kind of agenda, like a hatred for Glamberts. And as you saw their picture, they ain't anything looks-wise or dress-wise. I am surprised they were fashion bloggers.

I was posting a couple days ago about how I kept hearing Queen songs in commercials, TV shows and movies. Well I just sat down to watch this 2011 New Zealand movie on Netflix called "Love Birds" and was pleasantly surprised to see that the main character plays a huge Queen fan so Queen songs were being played throughout the entire soundtrack. Even ones I've never heard before.

Thanks. Last night I searched for "Adam Lambert" on Twitter just to see what people were saying. They were mostly comments on how good he looked and a few from non-fans. There were several "Is he even relevant", "he's disappeared for years", etc. that I wanted to respond to but decided not to since they would show up on the bottom of this page. I've also read on my feed that these Tom and Lorenzo guys never seem to say anything nice about Adam. And this open collar, makeup, jewerly, hair look - didn't he have a similar look at the Grammy's, which had rave reviews? I thought he looked gorgeous. In fact, he could have been a how to photo of how to do monochromatic dressing. Okay, I took a look at some of T & L's past posts on Adam. What assholes. Even criticizing what he wears around town during the day doing errands, then of course, a bunch of haters comment on how gross they think he looks. I wonder if these guys are gay and are just attacking their own again. It seems like a way for a bunch of Adam haters to have a forum. Sign.

Adam sure seems to be very excited about finding Prince last night. I didn't know Adam was such a fan. I knew he liked him because he went to see him in concert with his mom. In fact, I think they were dancing on stage, weren't they?

Seeing on my feed something about Tom and Lorenzo giving Adam bad review of hi shoes and/or outfit. Not even gonna bother to look it up. He looked way better than any other male I saw there. Nope, they defintely weren't enthusiastic. Mostly because they said he needs to start wearing color (and they hated the shoes). If you don't want to give the site hits, here's the last part of it: But even so… contrast is something some people need more than others in their clothing and Adam definitely strikes us as someone who needs it. White or black or bright pink – we don’t care what, but that shirt needed to be another color. We’re also not crazy about the open collar, which, when combined with the makeup and the jewelry and the hair, has a distinctly Lounge Lizard vibe, which doesn’t suit him at all.
And ohmigod those are the ugliest men’s shoes we’ve seen in AGES.[shrug] I think they're nuts and he looked absolutely stunningly gorgeous (an opinion pretty much shared by every other news outlet too). So whateves. Thanks. Last night I searched for "Adam Lambert" on Twitter just to see what people were saying. They were mostly comments on how good he looked and a few from non-fans.
