MY PREDICTIONS: 1. Queen will play one AFL song as a 2nd encore Saturday night. I would kill for Shady. Are Nile Rogers and Sam Sparro in London by chance? 2. AFL gets the Idol gig. I distain this show. Would prefer him in a mentoring situation but if the gig helps his career then it's a great strategic move with $$$. 3. AFL plays the closing Olympic ceremony with Queen. 4. There will be QueenBert concerts coming to the USA soon. I love your predictions too....especially #1...Shady would be my way-ahead first choice....imagine...I think it would be perfect....If Sam weren't there, Roger can easily fill in.....yeah!!! And they have a great bassist there already...not to mention Tommy who we know can do guitar or bass....

So do we have any stalkers fans staking out sauntering through Kensington Gardens and Wholefoods today? 8-) Me sad to say no Adam.

Nile Rogers is in the area. He's playing GuilFest 2012 on Sunday night - not far outside London. Sam Sparro says he calls London home now. Is he "home"? I need a live shady fix with Brian & Roger. That could be epic fun for all!

More random Queenbert: You all know how Adam does the eye thing. He was right in front of us and the Queen fan next to me, a guy, had his arm up with the rock on fingers. Adam nailed him with that intense stare, and thrust his arm out in the same gesture. I literally felt the guy react to it physically. (haha, we were sort of squished together). He sort of jumped or flinched. I actually felt him become a fan. There was only a few feet between them. The guy just started really cheering and all of a sudden he started taking Adam's picture along with Bri and Roger. Raved about Adam at the end, and asked me about his album. It was like witnessing a birth. The security guys offered us water all night long. What a great idea! Those zebra pants are amazingly, vividly sparkly live. Never could tell that from vids. That fire at the end? Everyone jumped the first time and nearly took out those behind us. And it's fucking hot down front. Felt like being barbecued. Be prepared. Queen fans very calm in line. Sort of kept us quiter and more mellow than usual. And weird to have so many men. But they are totally into it during the show. All the coordinated arm movements and loud singing created a strong sense of community and sharing. Really liked it. Some people in the balcony told me they felt the floor actually shaking from the fan response. Made them nervous. I thought those standing underneath should be the nervous ones. When Adam left the stage during his break last night, I saw a shorter, slim, very blond guy dressed in black walk backstage in the back with him. Only a guess. But probably a good one. (guess who I never took my eyes off, even when he was off stage wiping his face off). DH said A really looked good: slimmer, perfect weight. LOL I forget he isn't looking at his pic every single day. Perspective.

Okay, I'll play: Why I don't want him to do Idol (and yes, it is all about me): 1) I will be forced to watch that show again. Oh the humanity... 2) I will spend those viewing hours hopping up and down on my couch loudly exhorting the camera to SHOW ADAM AGAIN DAMMIT and then after every "performance," at even higher volume, "JFC ADAM GET UP THERE AND SHOW THEM HOW IT'S DONE!!!!!!!!!" Positive side...the next time someone gets up there and murders "Jesus Take The Wheel," wearing a flag lapel pin and a four-inch crucifix, holding a Bible in one hand and a geeetar in the other while wearing a MADE IN THE USA tee shirt, Adam would be there to glare him/her down and just say, "Bitch? PUH--LEASE." Seriously, this post so cracks me up...

Just some totally random Queenbert stuff: The Queen fans are travelers, too. The people I met (representing both fan groups) included those from Argentina, Japan, China, France, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Spain, Poland, Russia, all over the UK, Canada, the US and I've probably forgotten some and some people I never knew where they lived. All the people who slept overnight and nearly all the people at the front of the line were Glamberts People lined up at noon Tuesday for the Wednesday night show. There were a group of us having a nice berty conversation. All women Adam fans. One really nice Queen fan was sitting next to us, listening to pass the time. A friendly guy in his 40s. Suddenly someone mentioned PH and his remarks about Adam. We all simultaneously burst into very loud vile swearing of the worst words we knew. The guy was astonished, looked shocked, and then said he didn't even know who that was. I said, "But you've learned something. You now know that PH is..." And he said in perfect unity with me, "A complete asshole!" The guy next to me last night had a quite short wife. He was really upset that a security guy, who was actually short himself, stood between us and the stage. He kept telling him to move until the guy brought over his supervisor. The man was yelling that he'd paid a fucking lot of money for those tickets. Eventually they agreed to have him move away. (Once again, aggression rewarded). The people in front of me weren't over 5 feet, and next to them was someone in a wheelchair. So the guy moved way far from us. Nothing blocked my view but the camera guy walking quickly by twice. I thought it was really rude, making it someone else's problem, but I gotta admit I enjoyed the results. It was before the show even started. My friend had been blocked all show the night before, so I'll keep it in mind. They could at least move around some.

7. The Queen fans have been living the fandom cray for decades and they don't seem to have a cool moniker. That's a little sad...... I can't think of one though. 8. I nominate TALON for the "YEAH COOL MAN JOINS THE BOARD AND SAYS AWESOME WORDS" winner of the week. That's what I have for today! 8 first. Thank you! :D 7. I mentioned it earlier but at one point there was a group that was following them around during the UK tours and into the European ones. They were called The Royal Family MY PREDICTIONS: 1. #2 and #4 I think are highly likey. #3 I still think is unlikely...I think the committee wants to stick to the UK only...at this time. #4 - I wouldn't get your hopes up. I'm not ruling it out but you never know. I do know that Brian did praise Time For Miracles...

OK if I were a betting person, I am going out on a limb to predict an ADAM song Saturday night. YEP. Call me cray. Given the posters we saw in the streets after the mad success of London night one, the mad love between B&R&A, their heartfelt wish of his success, and that Queen did Paul Rogers songs on his tour. Why not? Like maybe in the encore is how I am dreaming it when then come out on stage and before doing the normal encore...Brian asks the maddened crowd who wants to hear one of Adam's songs, then they all scream and yell and they break into....say...Chokehold. Brian makes the song KILLLLLLLRRR while Adam is all proud and having his once in a lifetime moment with fucking Queen backing up one of his little songs. Oh yeah. [/IMG] Do not wake me up from my fantasy with any reality until 6:00 Saturday, kai? ;D
Chokehold would be perfect...... I wonder if they play any Adam songs before the show...... Lastly, I'd be trying to cutt down that banner from the balcony... ps.....my trailing dots make my dh insane.....now it's a habit, sorry...
