Michael Orland @michaelorland @melirose89 i know they're all rumors - but it would make me SO happy if it came true. I think he'd make a gr8 judge. #ImagineThat Awwwww, I love Michael Orland too! I would actually watch AI again if Adam was a judge. I really don't believe he will be though........number 1 reason.........Adam reminds viewers of the past and Idol "NEEDS" (my interpretation of different articles) to start all over as a new show or just go away. I actually wish AI would just go away............after S8........BORING!!!! Talon.......you are so VERY generous with your insight/feedback/history lessons  . Please, may I ask for your opinion........you mentioned (correct me, of course, if I am wrong) you purchased and enjoyed FYE, you purchased, but, did not like Trespassing........is this because you were hoping Adam would be more rock/Queen music for second album? Queen fans seem to be warming up to him, however, are they going to be disappointed in Trespassing because it is not rock? Just wondering, you do not have to answer, I just have this weird feeling radio, etc. wanted a more rock Adam not a pop Adam. I am low man on totem pole, do not know much about radio/pitch/numbers etc., so only if you have the time.......I would love opinion. I will go back to lurking :D |

This is true! That's why we are all here. (Have you gotten your ticket for Fantasy Springs yet?! ) ;D Wait! I thought that show was sold out! Or are just the good seats gone? Fantasy Springs is not sold out yet. Only the VIP section is sold out. |

It has gotten a bit better - but mostly it's because the hardcore haters have simply left the threads alone in the past few days. The people who were always supportive or at least on the fence seem to have enjoyed themselves overall  can you guess WHY the left the threads alone? like in "I have nothing to say unless I want to sound like a *insert your nice word of choice here*"? IMO, I think they don't like the vibe on the thread now knowing the fact that Adam has won over so many fans including the hardcores on the forum, who also against the collab when they first heard about EMA & Sonisphere ;D. Also, I think they don't like to be proven "wrong" .. LOL.. And not man or woman enough to admit it.. ;D ;D ;D. I respect some hardcores who dissed Adam before but then admitted that he's wrong and now love the show ;D. Also, what are they going to say about Adam now? Fans who's on the concerts love it and would love to go again and some of these people were never heard Adam's LIVE performance, so their opinion's is irrelevant. LOL |

Slightly longish post alert: Kinda late but I finally finished catching up on the concert threads (we lost internet service right in the middle of my reading the 1st London show thread on Wednesday night. Yep! I was loving that concertus interruptus... :twist: ) Such beautiful posts! Pictures and vids (and awesome GIF's) are to die for. So happy to see many fans and 'Topians were able to enjoy the concert(s) live. Thanks for all your descriptive recaps and perspectives on the show - especially as it relates to Queen fans and other non-Adam centric concert goers. Your words placed us right in the middle of the happenings; I could almost feel the clapping and floor shaking up in the balcony. Priceless. If anyone's still around, can you tell me what time the concert starts (EDT) tomorrow? Unlike the other concerts, I think I may be able to flail in real time for this show. Can't wait! I am also happy to see some relatively new members/delurkers here - Welcome, all! Talon, since I've not been on as much as I'd like (RL, ugh!), I'd like to finally say Welcome to you as well. I wanted to also to mention that there is a particular feeling which resonates after I've read your posts: calm. You are so measured, respectful, gracious, enlightening (sometimes, enlightened by a Topian) and 'unwishy-washy' in your (often times, dissenting) points of view. Strong board-posting traits, those. I look forward to more of your contributions. Now, on to the current Idol judge conundrum. Before I even focus on Adam's prospects, I have to say I realize I am in a very, very tiny minority. I am an Adam (super?) fan who likes Idol. A LOT. I watch most seasons; even some episodes of the oft-lambasted season 9. ('Twas painful though, so I skipped a lot of it.) Point is, I like the show. If for no other reason than it gave me him. I just hope to heck it won't serve me up anyone else who'll burrow there way in like this - ever. Nah... won't happen again. I guess I don't have to say how I'd feel if Adam gets the call. : 8-) OMG - can you fucking imagine seeing AL 2/3 nights a week and not have my innards twisted in anxiety over his performances? Just him saying words, being charming, cutely snarky, looking hot, saying words, and saying words??!!! ETA: I'm beginning to prefer "Dragon Jacket" to the other name. Whenever I see the other name, I think someone's talking to me. ??? ;D LMAO |
