[/IMG] ) Such beautiful posts! Pictures and vids (and awesome GIF's) are to die for. So happy to see many fans and 'Topians were able to enjoy the concert(s) live. Thanks for all your descriptive recaps and perspectives on the show - especially as it relates to Queen fans and other non-Adam centric concert goers. Your words placed us right in the middle of the happenings; I could almost feel the clapping and floor shaking up in the balcony. Priceless. If anyone's still around, can you tell me what time the concert starts (EDT) tomorrow? Unlike the other concerts, I think I may be able to flail in real time for this show. Can't wait! I am also happy to see some relatively new members/delurkers here - Welcome, all! Talon, since I've not been on as much as I'd like (RL, ugh!), I'd like to finally say Welcome to you as well. I wanted to also to mention that there is a particular feeling which resonates after I've read your posts: calm. You are so measured, respectful, gracious, enlightening (sometimes, enlightened by a Topian) and 'unwishy-washy' in your (often times, dissenting) points of view. Strong board-posting traits, those. I look forward to more of your contributions. Now, on to the current Idol judge conundrum. Before I even focus on Adam's prospects, I have to say I realize I am in a very, very tiny minority. I am an Adam (super?) fan who likes Idol. A LOT. I watch most seasons; even some episodes of the oft-lambasted season 9. ('Twas painful though, so I skipped a lot of it.) Point is, I like the show. If for no other reason than it gave me him. I just hope to heck it won't serve me up anyone else who'll burrow there way in like this - ever. Nah... won't happen again. I guess I don't have to say how I'd feel if Adam gets the call. :  8-) OMG - can you fucking imagine seeing AL 2/3 nights a week and not have my innards twisted in anxiety over his performances? Emo - Saturday's concert is set to start at 3:00 pm EDT. The others have been a bit late however, not by that much. Besides, anticipation only adds to the experience.
ETA - I agree, AFL and words are a joyful combination.

My $.02 about Idol (my first non Queen-related post I think  ) If all 3 judges are leaving than Adam is a really good choice because that's going to be a TON of change in one season to handle. Viewers will still have Ryan but three new judges almost makes it a new show consistency-wise. At least with Adam there is some familiarity there and connection with previous seasons. ha... like this thought. we heard only two male names - correct? namely Adam and Will.I.am. Both together would be perfect as witnessed by the GN show. Also - they need a minority on the panel, so: Adam, Maryah, Will.I.am.Nope.. Don't think Fox will get Will.I.Am. Will is working for XFactor UK or UK Got Talent now, and they pay him too much of money and not in $. |

Unpopular opinion.....maybe I'm just trying to save myself from extreme disappointment, but I don't think Adam is big enough yet to get this high profile AI gig. PLEEEEZE, let me be wrong!!! However, I think IF IF IF he does get it, everyone will be absolutely BLOWN AWAY by how great he will be. He will undoubtedly end up being one of the best judges EVER!!! People soooo underestimate the power of AFL!

I was just watching BoRap from Thursday night (zebra pants, twirling). Ya know, he twirled ALOT and then dropped to the ground in that feet under his butt plop -- just like a kid. I wonder how many times Leila saw that exact same twirl and plop. It just reminded me so much of my kid running from couch to couch, twirling and plopping. Adorbs.

Hallo People of Adamtopia! You are wonderful, devoted fans. I have been focused on other things int he past three weeks but getting a whiff and a hint of what an amazing time to be an Adam fan! Ive been able to see a few vids (my computer is really crumbly - shhh dont tell it) and wow wow wow. Thsi post from Nikki says it all - Nikki I hope you dont mind that I copy-pasted it here - i love your posts! ***** Just finished watching day two. Holy fuck sjkfjiuhtujkljbklnkjhgfjk. Adam is doing his alien trick again. His voice is just getting stronger and stronger, his charisma is slaying 'em dead, they've fallen at his feet in utter surrender to his fabulousness. I cannot imagine what the last show is gonna be like. All I know is that I don't want this to end - my heart wants to explode when he is truly in his element - with great recognising great, Brian to Roger to Adam to Brian - the utter love feast - golden circle - with love and awe pouring back to him from the audience - no struggles to explain himself to the petty and the mindless who will never get him - just everything flowing as it should, as he truly deserves.
