Where is this station located? Is this a concert that hasn't been announced yet? I am dying here, Adam will be in San Antonio, closer to me than I could ever dream of, in 2 days, and I won't be able to go to see him. so sadzzzzzzzz Are you going to Thackerville? I have tickets for Thackerville, but won't be able to go to SA. Personally no loss, it is going to be outside in July in Texas!! Have they lost their minds?? Oh you silly hens, July ain't nothin' just you wait 'til August. It gets a mite warm then.

I see Brad as a third judge absolutely as a possible combination, why would that rule Adam out? While idol tries to reposition its show and gain viewers or make old ones return, it cannot completely cater only to that potential new segment. It also needs to assure its traditional fan base (conservative, southern, families) that THEIR SHOW will go on. Neither Adam nor Mariah assure that, imo. Mariah is respected as vocalist, but her songs are not exactly easy listening material either. I can totally understand why idol would want one judge to represent the comfy and country segment. And just like on the voice, this would be a balanced panel. On a different footnote: I read those messages about gr8 chemistry between Mariah and Adam...How people assess that for other people? For what it's worth, my instincts rather lead me to believe that this will work because Adam can get along with anybody and everybody and make it work, not because this is naturally going to be easy. j/s They will have the audition rounds to establish their m.o., a time where only certain segments are shown and everything can be still edited. But Carey is a DIVA, more so than JLo ever was. So, let's first see whether it happens, but if it does, this will be an interesting show again....just like that! ETA: wrote this before I saw those lyrics up there : If nail polish takes your manhood away, there was not much there to begin with. Adam can handle such stuff though....he throws some glitter on there, just like with Michael Sarver...just shows what a mentality exists in those circles though. The reality is that there are millions who feel just like this Brad P. sings in his lyrics. It's going to be interesting. Adam is Trespassing indeed. At least Michael kept an open mind and he did come to respect Adam. Asked who had influenced him most on the Idol tour and he said Adam. It really changed his attitude towards LGBT community, too bad it didn't the same with Danny G.

lulu1265 I know about Sarver and like him. What I meant is: This was the attitude where he came from before he was 'adamized'. The same thing would happen here with this guy. Tbh, I cannot get all worked up about this. The reality is that tons of men and women in this country have these stereotypical ideas about male and female presentation and pretending that it is not this way is not really changing a thing. I like a person that is authentic and real and stands by who they are, even if that is different things for different people. That is what makes diversity happen and makes things interesting. The issue is not that some guy is proud to be the traditional masculine guy, the line gets crossed when somebody says or implies that the next person has to change because their way of being is not ok. I don't want to see make-up any more on Brad P. than I want Adam to have to take it off, just let people be.....and sometimes a song is just speaking to a certain sentiment and is just that...a song. If this guy behaves like an ass towards Adam, then yes, I would complain, but my gut tells me, he is not stupid, they are going to work together just fine, should it come to this. Just not willing to make so much out of this one....sometimes, it is not that deep.

Oh my. I remember those days! When Adam sings in Part 4 "Mad World", wasn't that the whole dvr debacle when the show ran overtime and our dvrs timed out and cut off his performance and we had to wait for the utubes to see his performance --- and Standing O from Simon? I love his Idol performances. THX for the vids.

Adam/idol judge mention starting @2:50 Do all country singers talk like that? Her accent hurts my ears. A flash of Adam's gorgeous face brought light to the room and the conversation. No, but many have various kinds of Southern US regional accents. Kellie Pickler is from a small town near Charlotte, North Carolina and has a Piedmont Hills accent. Modern Country Music originated in southern Mississippi (the heart of the US South). But Country singer come from all over the US and many other countries.

I don't think his song is homophobic. If anything, this song is anti-metrosexual. I have this song on my itunes. I find it funny. Of course, I am from Louisiana, the land of "Swamp People". If you view the song from this perspective it is totally unrealistic to expect a person from this culture to go along with eyebrow plucking and manicures. It just doesn't go along with hunting, fishing, etc. Hell, bathing might not fit in. There are all types of men. There are different cultures. Hell, I am sure there are some hunting, fishing, gun toting homosexuals. #Brokeback. Hey, that put all whole other perspective on some of these deer hunting, fishing trips. J/S.

In my opinion you can hold a different view of things and not be a "douchebag" I know plenty of good men who would never pluck their eyebrows and would only wear mascara if held down and tortured and who pretty much think guys who do are more than a bit girly (because well hello mascara!), but they are good stand up guys (and one of them is my husband who thinks all that and who has in past shared an apartment with a gay guy who did both those things).

OK, these pics are "old." I'm sure we've seen the full-length one on the left... but isn't the close-up on the right new?? Seriously SERIOUSLY HOT. Even with the shaved sides. (and I hated the Gump style with the fires of a thousand suns!!!) Warning: In the next paragraph I will indulge in strong personal opinion. Feel free to disagree vehemently. Boots, so awesome! Suit, fits beautifully. Hair, all ye forces of the galaxy, I will not mention the bride of frankestein hair, but focus on the feeling of the pic. The whole pic just feels so cocaine, man of steel (albeit in kick ass HBIC heels), manikinish, cold to me. Give me a tiny quirk somewhere! He is soo much more handsome and beautiful than these pics. The lighting is all wrong in the second pic! I can truly understand why he might want to project this image. All man in his heels. To me the pic is saying "Don't fuck with me." But I so want to see strong, ALIVE, vibrant, smart, challenging, interesting stylings! Bring HBIC, expressive, outgoing, ingoing, fascinating, passionate, thoughtful! Bring on the stylists and designers that will aid in manifesting the sublime Adam energy and attitude!!! Maybe a little Todd Lynn, www.toddlynn.com/mobile/sections/aw1011/23_aw1011.html a little McQueen. I crazy loved Adam's outfit for NY Fashion week with the black satin. I truly love his taste (almost all of it : )
