Oh my gosh, have you watched any of the women's gymnastics? How can you have missed Home? Talk about a BRILLIANT showcase for a song. Honestly, I would love to know who was responsible for getting the song that spot. Huge. Plus a little luck---it doesn't hurt that the USA gymnastics team has been such a "feel good" story.
The bigger picture---this truly tells the tale of just how important top iTunes placement is; Z100 is about to climb on the bandwagon.

No, it was not played last night. Maybe it was just being used for the team competition of gymnastics. Unlike Cook's Time of My life, which NBC used for everything in 2008!! Here's the thing though about Home. It will sell for awhile and will eventually go Platinum, I'm sure. BUT, people are buying the song, not the singer. I don't think this song will do anything for his first album single or his album. Especially since Phillip has said his music is nothing like that. Wouldn't be surprised at all if people thought it was Mumford and Sons. Maybe I am wrong, but it kind of reminds me of LLWD. It was the song people were buying, not Kris Allen. But "Yes" it was brilliant to get this song as the women's gymnastics "theme." And I would love something like that for any of Adam's songs! I was wondering how people knew the title of the song and how to find it on i-Tunes? The full song was never played. Did they ever put anything on the screen that said the title or artist? Anyway, BB thinks it will sell 200K this week!

Maybe what I am about to say it's stupid, cause I don't know much about i phones but I've seen my bff in London, every time she likes a song we listen on a pub, or at the mall or on TV or anywhere she clicks some buttons on her phone and within a few seconds the phone writes the name of the song and the artist and then she goes and buys it on i tunes. Is it an app? Is it something i phones have? IDK . Never asked lol.

I'm a proud owner of this app, "Shazam"! Actually, I got it when it first came out and has been one of my favorite apps ever since.
Try it, gelly, you'll love it!

Then GNL is GOLD already 'cuz the certification is based on wholesale shipment units. In order to sell 49760 units in retail RCA has had to send out more than 50,000 units in wholesale.
So, YAY for GOLD!!!
