Bottom line is, Adam wants the Idol gig, so I want it for him. Being on TV 2 times a week for 5 months is not going to hurt sales. And it's bound to gain him more concert going fans than touring does.

I agree that the judge role would be much better exposure than a mentor role. But it's getting to the point when I just want SOMETHING! I'm not so certain he'll be "fine" without some good TV exposure. Depends what you mean by fine I guess. He'll be able to have a music career, yes. But it probably won't be in pop and that's what the man wants. OT - Katharine McPhee is appearing in my area at a local arts center & tickets are $150! This is entirely because of Splash. Before that she was just another Idol also ran & appeared occasionally on PBS specials with other former idols if I remember correctly. I'm using words like "probably" and "I guess" and "IIRC" because, truth is, I know nothing.

www.gulfweeklyworldwide.com/Articles.aspx?articleid=29082This article posted on page one is just restating a random rumor from a couple of weeks ago! It is a recycled rumor! AI already has Jimmy doing the mentoring every week and he pulls in mentors from time to time to help the contestants. In the past, the artists Jimmy has brought in to mentor are signed with Interscope. I guess the show could be talking to a few of the Idols to do what these artists did last year. That type of appearance was pretty limited and isn't in the same universe as far as the weekly exposure and potential push to a career that an Idol judgeship can offer! It would be better than nothing...I guess. :( So if the 'Dawg' goes to mentoring and Jimmy is still a mentor.. there will be two mentors.. Hmmm that doesn't seem likely. I thought Jimmy was really a positive ,so much better than the judges on last season. Adam is so happy .. He has said this is just the beginning... what don't we know?? The suspense is driving me Cuckoo. LOL

Well, there were basically two mentors last season. Most weeks Jimmy had someone sitting with him (Lady Gaga, Will I Am, etc.) when he worked with contestants.

www.twitlonger.com/show/il5l3mTALCvids (@talcvids) Posted Thursday 2nd August 2012 from Twitlonger FYI: We have finished our Queen & Adam London vids for Saturday, July 14th We filmed from GA floor which gives a different perspective than our Thursday night vids from front row balcony. Since @luv2laugh77 was in the back of the GA Floor, it made it more difficult to record our HQ audio and still video the show. We do however, have 7 vids from London Night 3. It gets a little crazy at times with all the people, but she did zoom in on Adam for an 'up close' feel. We have combined our HQ audio with these HD vids. Hope you enjoy them! The playlist for the Queen & Adam, Saturday, July 14th show is here: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9D6CF9E6E3202BBBOur HQ Audio of the entire Queen & Adam Lambert London Night 3 (July 14th) set can be found here thanks to terra_zephead: www.adamwiki.org/wiki/2012-07-14_London,_England,_United_Kingdom_(Queen_+_Adam_Lambert) We do have the entire set of Queen & Adam, Wednesday, July 11th, on video. Those are next on the 'To Do' list All of our vids of Queen & Adam, Thursday, July 12th, can be found on our youtube channel. Playlist here: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLC3CB865B96E8D9E8

my gut feeling is that Queen will be defaulting to Adam as long as Adam can do it...regardless of what that is...so, unless the Bond song has already been recorded - it will be Adam.... Vocally - neither LG nor Adele are even close to Adam. Sticking up a bit here for LG. She has a darn good voice - better than Adele imo. I'm not putting her in Adam's category (no one is in his category imo) but she is one of the best female voices in pop. Listen to her Lady is a Tramp with Tony Bennett. Who is LG?

If Katharine McPhee is suddenly making it.. I have no fear about Adam continuing to be a big star.Nothing,IMO will ever keep him from going after his dreams. The doors have been opened and I don't see Adam ever letting any of them close. While I'm biting my nails about what's next ,He knows exactly why" this is just the beginning"... god I wish he would share ....

And yes, it's only her. Just checked - the concert isn't until Oct. 20.
