Not really, because I personally KNOW several gay actors who play straight roles all the time. I also know several straight actors who play gay roles. Some of the actors I am referring to have had these roles on Broadway and in National touring companies. I know how they feel about playing roles that require them to be someone they are not in real life. They would in no way agree with your opinion or your definition of what acting is or is not. They certainly aren't going to base their opinions concerning their profession, that they love passionately, on a few anonymous posters on a random blog site. They have formed their philosophy on acting through working on their craft for years with other professionals who have been in the business for decades.

;D ;D And why on earth would these posters sway Adam's decision AT ALL? Adam has made it clear he does not like to be put in a box by ANYONE-- even fellow gays. He has said on more than one occasion that he hopes for diversity within the gay community and that he does not want to be told how to be gay. The posters on Queerty regularly bash Adam. They're so predictable. Meanwhile, and without the help of Queerty, Adam is drawing a more diverse audience at his concerts-- including more young gay men. He's doing it by staying true to himself and letting his talent and drive and personality speak for him. I respect that and, I think, so do many other people-- gay and straight. I love your post. You said what I was feeling much better than I could. Adam won't let anyone put him in a box and be measured by their standards. Adam will stay true to him self. I really admire this about him.

Adam stayed true to himself and he still is successful. Sometimes I think that is why I am here. (That and I am addicted to his voice!!, smile, move, well Adam.)

I notice more diversity lately as well.

.... I recall in my childhood fairy tales that the trolls were easy to find (look under the bridge) and easier to fool. Just don't let yourself get caught in their (rather obvious) net...

If Adam were to make all his career decisions based on what ignorant haters had to say, then he would just have to stay in bed, pull the covers up over his head and never leave his house. Adam has made it clear he doesn't give a shit what haters think. In fact, he said they inspire him and make him work harder.

If this group who is making phone calls to various townships to warn them of the supposed upcoming protests, then "WHAT IF" these groups read the various gossip/news reports up Adam possible AI Judge position, did these groups make a concerted effort and call into the power-to-be in protest????? Maybe he was approached and possibly offered the position, but AI backed out thinking maybe not? I brought back the AMA's protest and how TV caved in. TV didn't cave, ABC did. Adam was welcomed onto other stations without incident, including Fox.
