No Olympics for sure. This also means he will have to leave Cali on the 9th! Myspenser, is there anything significant about the 9th? No, it's just that Japan's timezone is way ahead of us (16hours for me,) so he has to leave here by the 9th, to make the 11th promo. (It is my hubby's birthday though!)  |

I just finished downloading all 124 pics from this album. They are all crystal clear and capture the most amazing facial expressions on not just Adam, but Brian & Rodger, as well. If you don't have time to look at all of the photo sets, you should look at this one. alikat1323 SmugMug [124 Photos]

Just saw this on Twitter. Apparently Adam is doing some promo in Japan and one of them is a big M&G with fans. It is on the 11th. baniþ@bani_

If Adam announced the new single next week (at least, that's what looks like to me) before leaving for Japan, I'm wondering what he would be promoting while there. I'm crossing my fingers & toes for the new single 'cuz if otherwise, IMO, it would be a total waste of time & energy, and opportunities. NCOE lasted only 2 weeks on the Japanese overseas airplay chart since release, I'm afraid they would just play along with the promo and spin the song a few times while he's there, then that's about it. Guess we'll find out soon....

There is an Adam M&G on the 18th before his Summer Sonic performance, but I can't find anything on the 11th. @bani_ is a very reliable source but what is this?? And that puts him in Japan on the 11th --- with concerts on the 15th, 18th and 19th? What is in the gap? |

Sorry, perhaps I am just not mushy and sentimental enough, but I gotta ask anyhow:
I mean when you feel overwhelmed in life, or just have a day where things suck, or just are fucking mad about something or whatever you can think of....isn't a good cry sometimes a great way to get out of that funk?
Now if Adam would tell me that he is constantly depressed or that something major in his life sucks, of course I would feel bad for him, but a) I could not do much about that either and b) I don't get that impression at all.
Right after the Amas? I am sure he was scared like shit that he had just ruined everything and I wish anything that he would not have had to go through that experience, but none of us could take it away from him, except obviously by offering our support and letting him know that his core fans had gone nowhere.
I was amazed and astounded with what courage and grace he faced those days in New York right after the amas and I bet they were tough as hell for him. I felt for him every step of the way and I totally believe he felt drained after that week. I can't possibly imagine how much.
But when it comes to processing things, to me, a good cry can sometimes help and if only to let all the emotions out instead of bottling them up.
I have no idea in which way Adam processes what he goes through, but if a good cry helps him, then I sure hope that is what he does.
Too much smothering just forces somebody to suppress emotions. I don't want him to feel like he cannot tell his fans what he feels or thinks, because he always has to be sunny publicly or we are getting worried.
I'd rather the communication path can stay as open as possible. That is what Underneath is about, isn't it?
There is all the stuff of which Adam can probably anyhow only share a few things and not all. That's the nature of the artist - fan relationship. But the last thing I'd want to see is that the communication is further limited beyond that necessary element, because somehow 'we cannot stand it for him to be sad'. That just seems totally unnatural to me.
Alright, and now I go find myself a rock to hide...but I just had to say that...

Oh, and Catz, I love following your story in many installments. Totally looking forward to the next ones already. You are such a brilliant story teller.
