I am not sure this is correct. There is an Adam M&G on the 18th before his Summer Sonic performance, but I can't find anything on the 11th. @bani_ is a very reliable source but what is this?? And that puts him in Japan on the 11th --- with concerts on the 15th, 18th and 19th? What is in the gap? I believe she is going to it so she has the date correct. ??? I am not doubting the date but what is the event? There is nothing listed anywhere I can find on the 11th.

I don't like anyone I love to be sad. I don't think anyone made a big deal about it, unless I missed some posts. I'm just trying to find the damn interview!

Sounds like it might be some big event (maybe a store or mall)or something even like they had in Singapore. I just asked her. Will see if she replies.

Thank you all for your warm welcome, Thanks Q3 for your response. One of the reasons I like this place is the positive attitude that many times I need. Not that I am very pessimistic, but I need to be convinced when I doubt. I knew that there would be single #3 and even #4. But I would be very disappointed if the label drops a single just because it was in the plan before, without proper strategy to support it. The more singles flop, the worse the artist looks and the chance for his music to be played on the radio will be slimmer. The label didn't make a lot of efforts to push the first 2 singles. I was hoping the idol gig would be their promotional tool this time. But it doesn't sound it's gonna happen. They need to do something else. Otherwise they should not release the 3rd single until they can think of something else to promote it. What can the "something else " be??? Can someone guess???

If Adam announced the new single next week (at least, that's what looks like to me) before leaving for Japan, I'm wondering what he would be promoting while there. I'm crossing my fingers & toes for the new single 'cuz if otherwise, IMO, it would be a total waste of time & energy, and opportunities. NCOE lasted only 2 weeks on the Japanese overseas airplay chart since release, I'm afraid they would just play along with the promo and spin the song a few times while he's there, then that's about it. Guess we'll find out soon....
Maddie, I guess Adam will let us know the name of the next single next week only. It can be can be officially dropped a few weeks later, and the impact date can be a month and a half after that.

I don't like anyone I love to be sad. I don't think anyone made a big deal about it, unless I missed some posts. I'm just trying to find the damn interview! Huh? Really? I think if I knew a person who is always cheery/happy and never sad, I would perceive that as unnatural. Is of course their choice to be that way, but I doubt we would become true friends, tbh. Do you like to see your friend or loved one be sad, of course not, but I would perceive it as natural. Different perspective, different expectation towards friendship, I guess. As far as Adam, we obviously all are only guessing. I do not recall one specific sentence or article that would confirm what you are looking for, but rather some sleuthing / interpreting along the lines of.... Adam said he cried over a movie and perhaps he was just in a mood for a cry + Dec 09 is right after the amas ==> Adam cried his eyes out after the ama's. I do recall an interview where Adam said that right after the amas everything was a bit overwhelming, but that is about all he let on at the time. I bet in reality there was far more going on, but I don't think we fans got concrete information from him about it at any time. He is open towards the public, but perhaps not quite SO open, and I think that is quite understandable and ok too.

When I was leaving London to go to Paris on the 15th of July via the chunnel, the taxi dropped me off outside the train station. I'll explain in more depth in my recap, but the short version is that I stopped to have a ciggie break ;D and started talking to a guy outside who was wearing the black Queenbert t-shirt. It turned out he was a roadie/videographer for Queen and had just done all six concerts with them.
Two things.
1. He said there was a special thing coming up, which turned out to be the Olympics (I'm not sure if it had been confirmed at this stage) and when I asked about which Olympic ceremony, he said closing and when I asked him he shrugged and didn't know/wasn't sure if Adam would be part of it. He also said NO and laughed when I said could I put it out on twitter.
2. I asked about professional DVD footage. His reply was that yes they had filmed the whole thing as per ~normal (he's worked with Queen in the past), but NOT with a DVD in mind. And yes, they could probably put something together if they wanted to, but it definitely was not filmed for that purpose.
He shared some other stuff which I'll save for my re-cap, but he also reached into his trouser pocket and gave me a Brian May guitar pick ;D

There are many ways to promote a single. RCA is too smart to just release a single and not promote it. And Adam most certain will promote it. ETA: Catz I am not materialistic but I want a Brian May guitar pick. Very jealous right now.
