Well, um, she didn't suck. And she has a good voice. Just kind of jarring to see a twiggy-thin woman in a almost-not-there body suit going OTT singing WWRY. Weird. Talking about double standards, the outfit is an example of what a girl can get away with and be lauded for, but a guy would be killed for. Yes, but in way it is other way round: It is what can be offered to men to enjoy versus women to enjoy. And of course it assumes all who watch are straight. AND THAT IS A DOUBLE STANDARD! |

I just thought it was weird to see how JJ has morphed into Katy Perry.
If Nick Jonas gets the judging thing (which feels pretty likely with all the "reality stuff" going on and Seacrest's hand in all of it) I will seriously have no desire to tune in. And, if Adam doesn't get Idol I sure hope they fill up his schedule fast, and that the empty calender isn't a sign that we are getting an unsupported single.

Quoting your question from page 8 because I'd like to know, too.I don't quite understand the question, sorry. But to recap if you have not been reading the thread: The interview on Saturday in the radio was done in English and already posted. The M&G fan event Saturday was not broadcasted at all, but some reports and clips for entertainment news in TV has been posted. Sunday was free as far as I know, shopping and tattoo only. Any other interviews done today have not been published yet (eg Inrock magazine). |

Hair looks great. Glad he didn't do Olympics, he would have got shishibobbed in the media too. Not if he killed it. Which he would have. Except he messed up the lyrics every single time, twice per concert, which is a dozen. How hard is it to remember boy=kickin' your can..., young man=wavin' your banner..., old man=somebody better put you back into yo' place :dunno:  I have removed every WWRY performance from my collections because it hurts me, and I am not even a die-hard Queen fan. Vocally, yes, he would have killed it! ;D But I am a stickler for the lyrics. I know Ritchie Blackmore could not stand Ian Gillan because he could not remember the lyrics either, but that's very rock&roll, so whatever... |

I checked and it is all there. The interview on Aug 11 and TV news clips on Aug 12. There should be some more tomorrow, we'll see. |
