Quoting your question from page 8 because I'd like to know, too.I don't quite understand the question, sorry. But to recap if you have not been reading the thread: The interview on Saturday in the radio was done in English and already posted. The M&G fan event Saturday was not broadcasted at all, but some reports and clips for entertainment news in TV has been posted. Sunday was free as far as I know, shopping and tattoo only. Any other interviews done today have not been published yet (eg Inrock magazine).
I was referring to the video clips on page 1 with the Japanese narration and wondering if anyone had translated what was being said about Adam.

So when did the original words - 'Music soothes the Savage Breast' become 'Music Soothes the Savage Beast'?

I thought it was funny when he'd get the lyric right but then changed to a different one, "someb-wavin' your banner all over the place!" I think he did best when he was ACTING OUT the lyrics - actually kicking, waving etc. Theater training to the rescue! Ok, I was going to bring up how he always messed up the lyrics to 20th Century Boy, but now I see there are several versions, but he switched them up all the time. Sometimes using "rat" first and sometimes using "cat." Now I find out the original T.Rex song doesn't even have "rat." I've been mishearing it since the 70s. T.Rex is "move like a cat, charge like a ram" Def Leppard's cover is "walk like a rat, crawl like a cat" I wonder which lyrics AL was intending? Hmm, this will require some YouTube investigation, so I will reluctantly pull myself away from working. :D Particularly the tongue-diving one where he hits that incredible glory note. ETA: I've only got as far as New Orleans and he says "move like a cat, talk like a rat," so answer is none of the above. But then he says it again in the next verse.

So when did the original words - 'Music soothes the Savage Breast' become 'Music Soothes the Savage Beast'? When it referring more to Orpheus than the play. From wiki: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OrpheusGreeks of the Classical age venerated Orpheus as the greatest of all poets and musicians: it was said that while Hermes had invented the lyre, Orpheus perfected it. Poets such as Simonides of Ceos said that Orpheus' music and singing could charm the birds, fish and wild beasts, coax the trees and rocks into dance,[11] and divert the course of rivers. He was one of the handful of Greek heroes[12] to visit the Underworld and return; his music and song even had power over Hades.
