I think a lot hinges on whether Nick Jonas gets the gig. I can't see any scenario where they would have Adam and Nick on the same panel. I can see Adam with Brad and Pharrel. Nick is the problem, IMO, lol. Actually, I can't see Nick on any Idol Judge panel. But that is just my opinion. He would be younger than over half the contestants. He no longer has much of a fan base. And he tweeted about it breaking the confidentiality agreement. In the past people have breached that clause after they decided they did not want to be a judge or were passed by. (Howard Stern, Pink, Katy Perry, P Diddy for example). --- I am not even sure we can assume Idol retains their current model -- a 3- or 4-judge panel. There appears to be some kind of other mentor positions being considered -- also from "sources". It is unconfirmed that Adam is on the FOX execs consideration list. We have nothing except a couple of stray comments from Adam and a couple of rumors from July. >> All the Adam info is from "sources" or interpretation of what he said. It will all play out the way it plays out. Beyond that we are all just speculating. All I know is that he has a clear calendar from the end of AU until Oct 17th. Adam will not be laying on a beach for 8 weeks. So he will be doing something. We just do not know what yet. ETA: There is only one thing Adam could do that would crush me -- announce that he is never going to tour or perform publicly again. (And even if he said it, I would NEVER believe him.) I expect to see Adam singing away when he is 60 and I have my levitating walker. In the year 2042.  |

First thing this morning my Mom said to me Adam is going to be on Idol. Not sure where she heard it but it must have been in the past 24 hours.

Just an FYI for everyone - we are going to try to trend Adam4idol tomorrow at 3pm Eastern. I'll try to keep you posted. Please help if you are on twitter and feel like it. We're thinking that it can't hurt, and it might actually help if what Joe Jonas said about Nick is true, and Idol is still deciding on the judges as we speak. Could be that they are deciding b/w Adam and Nick and/or other people, and all we can do is help show that Adam has media and social media impact. Ofc, this whole theory might be totally off base and I might be totally crazy, but, again, trending can't hurt.
I'm in! It can't hurt to let Idol know that we're excited about the possibility. |
