Someone mentioned Justin Hawkins upthread which made me dig out my FYE cd (I've been absorbed by Trespassing these many months). It was such a lot of fun to hear it again. Something to do while we're all awaiting the big announcement!!!

just one more thing to aid fuel to the Idol fire --- Shoshanna followed Idol for about 10 min earlier today, then unfollowed. Around the same time Adam started to follow Idol.

Yes, the final Idol contract contains all kinds of terms -- including promotional guarantees. Am wondering if the fact that DMG was talking to AI re Katy Perry earlier on would have any bearing on what they could get for Adam. Would it have given them a better idea of the lay of the land, so to speak? Not sure if Fox was talking to DMG re Katy Perry affecting Adam. The first leaks from ENews on 07/09 said, Fox execs has been talking about Adam for over a month. It means they have been considering Adam for the position since end of May. It's possible Fox wanted both Katy and Adam to sit on the judging panel, and it's easier to talk to one management to get 2 judges and two different managements. |

just one more thing to aid fuel to the Idol fire --- Shoshanna followed Idol for about 10 min earlier today, then unfollowed. Around the same time Adam started to follow Idol. LOL.. I think as soon as she realized that Adam fans' snooping around, she quickly unfollowed them so in her mind it won't be too obvious. But followed it and unfollowed it within 10minutes' even more obvious.. haha |

The Idol producers seem to have been talking to about every living or breathing singer on the planet at one point or another. And they started this months ago. I wish someone would just tell us the real scoop. And the E! New report was a "source" but most of what else was in that first report has turned out to be true -- so I think the "over a month" may be true too. |

Why in the world would she follow and unfollow in minutes. This idol judge scenario has made me very suspicious of any thing the players do out of the ordinary. One thing I believe is that most of these things are not random. In reviewing the time line, the circumstantial evidence is very strong. I am by nature a glass half empty person, but this glass is looking pretty full right now. |

Just a random thought. With all the positive press Adam got with the possibility of him being on Idol, can you imagine the response if he does not? Something along the lines of "Idol decides their own Idols aren't good enough to judge." "Idol fails to support its own", "Idol has no confidence in its alumni. Has to recruit from outside." Probably won't happen, but..... they would definitely bet better PR if they choose Adam than if they deny him. J/S.

I keep telling you guys, Simon fuller was in attendance for 2 Queen shows. He is the big boss for AI. So I feel that bodes well for Adam. I think he is in the running!!!!
I'll go farther.
I think he's already got the Idol gig.
I found it. I guess I was kinda dyslexic with the numbers. I thought it was the 12th, but it was the 21st. |
