Thinking that while we wait we should post items of clothing we would love to see Adam wear. Our own personal What Haute Couture Would Look Hot on Adam feature. Not that he's our personal doll or anything 8-) Gaultier pants  Omg the pants! Yes to the pants! Tweet it to him, make him see it, I want him in these pants! And the top thing, he has to have that, too. Sans the coat. |

If that was a done deal, what else could hold AI from announcing all the judges? They are running short in time. Is he going back to the US just to wait for the annoucement? I stated that ^^ they hadn't signed the 4th judge yet, Keith Urban. I think he was signed as late as last week, because they were still trying for Paisley. Nick Jonas was a Plan B, in case they couldn't sign a Country judge. Urban gets off tour the 4th. The announcement is coming soon! Not soon enough. I can live without the announcement for another 2 weeks tbh, but the continual hand wringing?! -  I guess I just don't get the constant worry and angst. I'm not wired that way at all, I guess. To me it seems you'd have to work pretty hard at it. Like almost try to get yourself worked up. IDK. Adam has seemed happier than ever lately and his latest twitter party had me in stitches. But if people want to spiral into depression and sadness, I guess that is up to them. |

Giving up Wicked for the chance of a lifeteime, when he wanted a life change is not even close to the same thing as asking someone to give up hundreds of thousands of dollars of tour or one off income! Not even close! :-/ Maybe. Adam wasn't going on tour during this time no matter what happens with Idol. He could be doing one-offs (making money) and also single promo (spending money). Adam didn't just give up Wicked, from what I understand. He gave up the ability to sign on again with Wicked OR any other touring company for a year. That was giving up a full time job that he couldn't go back to and giving up his profession for a year. It was a huge leap of faith. Adam is at the point in his life where he can take a month or two off and still live the same lifestyle he is accustomed to. He wasn't at that point when he tried out for Idol and he definitely would have been in trouble if he had to take a year off. When I read about the AI contract and the situation it put Adam in, I understood why more Broadway professional didn't ever try out for Idol! Maybe Idol would get better talent auditioning if these contracts were less risky for the contestants. They way it is now, they mostly get people who have no other career opportunities in music. |

I find it hard to believe that people put their work on hold waiting to find out if they are a judge on Idol. I would think most of the people they pick do not have much on their plate that is why they take the job. Adam is very busy and could be out doing one off concerts. To have nothing on his schedule in Sept tells me this is planned. He can not be doing nothing next month in hopes it will happen. Most of the people in talks had full schedules. Enrique, Brad and Nicki are in the middle of big tours. Keith has four or five concerts scheduled this week through Labor Day weekend. Nicki had to cancel overseas tour dates. Mariah is the only one who isn't in the midst of some kind of promo schedule.[/font]...and, this is exactly why I don't get the Mariah thing. |

We can work on our project while waiting for the AI announcement - yes we can! :-) Adamtopians extraordinaire are donating $$ to support 1n10 youth to attend Adam's upcoming concert at the Arizona State Fair on October 17. It would be great if Molly at 1n10 could receive donations by September 12. The tickets go on sale on September 15. The tickets are $20.00 each for reserved seating.
