I just want to clarify that I really do enjoy the speculation about Idol (and other things) when it involves putting together clues and analyzing it in that way. And yes, people are going to get emotional at times, if things seem to be going a certain way. But sometimes things just seem to start spiraling into a sea of worry and doubt and I don't really get the point of that. We'll know one way or the other soon enough. To be clear, I am not telling anyone what to post or think. Just getting my feelings across. Scroll is our friend.  . |

Not soon enough. I can live without the announcement for another 2 weeks tbh, but the continual hand wringing?! -  I guess I just don't get the constant worry and angst. I'm not wired that way at all, I guess. To me it seems you'd have to work pretty hard at it. Like almost try to get yourself worked up. IDK. Adam has seemed happier than ever lately and his latest twitter party had me in stitches. But if people want to spiral into depression and sadness, I guess that is up to them. There may be people that can't help dwelling on these feelings. this is an interesting community.... sometimes we rush to help out and lend a hand and other times we are trying to protect our own feelings and reject anything that might affect them... In the unfortunate case of AI many of us "want" it to happen mainly because Adam expressed an undeniable wish to get the job... hence the "worry" and the tea leaf readings... I am dying for him to get it and can't take the wait...but I am also 100% sure that whatever happens is for the best, and his career will find its way to the well deserved greatness. HE WILL WIN. |

I find it hard to believe that people put their work on hold waiting to find out if they are a judge on Idol. I would think most of the people they pick do not have much on their plate that is why they take the job. Adam is very busy and could be out doing one off concerts. To have nothing on his schedule in Sept tells me this is planned. He can not be doing nothing next month in hopes it will happen.
Adam did not say he is "waiting to hear." He said he is "waiting. " He is having a love affair with his fans, this year, with us! Can you imagine how hard it is to know and keep this secret? I believe that no way in hell is Idol going to have a bi-racial judge, an African American judge, a Latin judge and an Aussie! C'mon! I believe that now that they have Keith, the announcement is imminent! I believe Adam's got this and has known since the end of July!! I BELIEVE IN MORE THAN I CAN SEE! We can work on our project while waiting for the AI announcement - yes we can! :-) I'm giving up my birthday tomorrow for the 1 in 10 kids' Adam concert tickets. Unfortunately at this age I only get a couple of presents, but I've asked them to buy 1 in 10 tickets instead. So besides my own donation, they'll be getting a couple more. Can't think of a better way to celebrate my birthday! :D |

Omg the pants! Yes to the pants! Tweet it to him, make him see it, I want him in these pants! And the top thing, he has to have that, too. Sans the coat. Pants? I thought those pantyhose. (I think they are too girly for Adam.)  Yeah really - black lace leggins? good griefus...  I guess it's all a matter of perspective, but I don't call having fun speculating "spreading the misery." :-/ |
