I'm giving up my birthday tomorrow for the 1 in 10 kids' Adam concert tickets. Unfortunately at this age I only get a couple of presents, but I've asked them to buy 1 in 10 tickets instead. So besides my own donation, they'll be getting a couple more. Can't think of a better way to celebrate my birthday! :D Ouch, I just re-read this post ... it sounds like I'm saying it is unfortunate I only get a few presents ... that's not at all what I meant!!! :-[ I meant it is unfortunate I don't have many people I could ask to buy Adam's concert tickets for the 1 in 10 kids instead of giving me a present ... I know gracefuladam is trying to get tickets for 30 to 35 of the 1 in 10 kids to go to Adam's concert in Arizona, and I think she is only about half way there. We only have about 2 weeks until the tickets go on sale, and it would be good to buy them all at once so the kids can sit together. The reserved seats are only $20, but she has said even $5 would help with transportation costs. And 1 in 10 is a 501(c)3 organization, so donations can be tax deductible. Could you please post the link again for 1 in 10 kids? |

Aw, JustKaren, I totally knew what you meant! Did not take it to mean anything but what you intended! At my age, I don't nearly get the haul my kids do!  When I read your email, I thought what a thoughtful idea! Wish I had thought of it for my bday today. And happy almost birthday to my almost-same-birthday Atopper and fellow Virgo! |

I think he sometimes says things that are over exagGeration & not meant to be taken seriously. Later he may realise too many fans took him seriously and he deletes or back tracks. When I first saw the tweet I Thought it sounded more like a parent empathising with a child over Christmas not comeing fast enough. (Sorry too hard to correct spelling etc on cell.) |

So why is it so easy for these X-Factor contestants to get adds on CHR (Chris Rene also had no problem) and Adam can't for the life of him. >:( Also One Direction and Cher Lloyd, and Ollie Murs.....must be some payola of some kind going on.... Not being on RCA probably helps too! |
