Adam had a twitter party, necked, in bed, with Sauli asleep beside him (cue fan meltdown of awwww). And in other news we have officially reached groundhog day in discussions about which "big star" will join Mariah's boobs behind (or perhaps resting on) the well used but hopefully wiped down AI desk. Bridgeymah ... 'reached groundhog day' ... brilliant!! Thank you for your sense of humor! ;D

My comment "at least he ain't queer" wasn't meant to be a slam on Enrique (whose sexuality has been rumored about). What i was trying to say is that even right-wingers have found it difficult to enforce the old rules against pre-marital sex. Losing battle. So, nowadays, morality tends to focus on rules against same-sex sex, which rules are, after all, pretty easy for straight people to follow. So Enrique can be more free to get "shady" on national TV, and Top 40 radio, than Adam can. They have Nicki freaking Minaj on the panel! Enrique looks like a boy scout compared to her!

It's not racism. It's TV demographics. Racism would be implying one was better than the other. This is more of a quota so Idol can hit key demographics. It is racism in the sense that "people only relate to their look alikes". I dont. I bet you dont and I bet Adam doesnt (though come to think of it he picked a scandinavian throwback to his past!) Its like having balck people date black people on tv shows or white people date white people. This is racism even if it seems normal to some people. Sorry, but it is nothing like those dating examples. Racism would be an all white panel. A diverse panel is the opposite of racism.

[/IMG] Idol needs to balance the judging panel to maximize the audience. I will be happy if Adam is a judge, I will be happy if he is not a judge. I just want him to keep singing. ETA If Adam retires, I will be sad. That is the only thing that would make me sad. ETA 2: Let's not beat up Enrique -- especially on the gay issue. Since he is probably bisexual. WHAT!!?? When did Enrique say he was bisexual?
Never -- and that is why I said probably. I have twice gone to see Enrique perform with gay friends and both times my friends were picked as "the kissed guy". Can anyone tell me what straight entertainer kisses men at many performances? Here is an example from a concert I did not attend: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH1z4uexetQ I do not know if any reporter ever asked him and do not care. He is at least sexually open. And I do not care. IF Idol foolishly chooses Enrique and not Adam, it will not be because Adam kisses men. Cause they both kiss men.

Just because a male star dates a female model or whatever, or just because a male star is married to a woman, does not necessarily mean he is straight. "Bearding" has been going on in Hollywood and in entertainment circles for at least 90 years. This is just a GENERAL comment and is not meant to apply to any particular actor/singer.

Also just because a man kisses another man doesn't necessarily mean he is gay or bi. But Latin men are known to be very flirty.
