Also just because a man kisses another man doesn't necessarily mean he is gay or bi. But Latin men are known to be very flirty. IDK. I thought Latin men were more into macho!! Flirty, yes, but with the ladies.

Yes, but there are more rumors about Enrique that involve people I know very well. I am now completely out of this gossippy discussion. ETA: Yes, Enrique leveraged his father's fame.

[/IMG] WHAT!!?? When did Enrique say he was bisexual?
Never -- and that is why I said probably. I have twice gone to see Enrique perform with gay friends and both times my friends were picked as "the kissed guy". Can anyone tell me what straight entertainer kisses men at many performances? Here is an example from a concert I did not attend: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH1z4uexetQ I do not know if any reporter ever asked him and do not care. He is at least sexually open. And I do not care. IF Idol foolishly chooses Enrique and not Adam, it will not be because Adam kisses men. Cause they both kiss men.
He kissed the guy on the forehead! lol Some cultures and people from other countries aren't as freaked out by male touching (or kissing cheeks) as the males in the US are! Just go and watch the videos of guys on soccer teams in other countries. All guys aren't homophobic and obviously Enrique isn't, which is rather nice for a change! This is a huge jump to call a man bisexual just because he is comfortable touching other men. I know tons of young men in Theatre, who are not gay, but are also not freaked out with guy on guy touching. Unless Enrique has said he is bisexual, IMO it is jumping to conclusions to say that he is "probably bisexual" based on the fact that he isn't a homophobic neanderthal like most the guys in the US!

I think I posted this a few months back. But I'll repeat. Katy Perry is reportedly forming her own label. Madonna has her own, and now Katy will follow soon. So if RCA drops Adam, maybe Katy will be a friend and pick him up.
Modonna HAD her own label --- Maverick Records, which is now owned and operated by Warner Music Group. As of 2010, along with fellow founding artists Alanis Morissette and Michelle Branch, Modonna is no longer affiliated with the label. Her current album is released on Interscope Records, the first in a three-album deal with the label.
IF, and that's a ginormous IF, RCA parted ways with Adam, I have no doubt UMG will get to him before anyone else!

Oh lord -- some of the levys in NoLa are now topped!! and that storm has moved back to the Gulf of Mexico. It is stuck there. Southern Mississippi and Louisiana and getting killed. Did JLo attract a lot of Latin American viewers for AI? If JLo didn't, would AI expect Enrique to? The only thing that will attracct Latin American viewers would be a Latin American contestant. I think Allison Iraheta has been the only one to make Top 10 in 11 seasons! If that is the case, having a Latin American judge on the panel is "nice to have", but may not be very critical because if the Latin American contestant is eliminated early, what keeps the Latin American viewers watching the show are: 1) the judges if they are interesting/entertaining enough 2) other interesting contestant if there is any. AI cannot bet on #2 (contestant), but can try their best to get #1(judges). Adam v Enrique, who is a better judge and more entertaining?

This makes me think on multiple levels.
1 We have seen Adam kiss women in concerts but nobody "excuses" him of being bi. Is this another double standard? 2. Enrique only actually kissed him on the forehead so it isnt quite comprable to Adam's kisses. It was almost like he was playing with the guy--was it for laughs? 3. How was this taken by mainstream compared to their reaction to Adam? Or is it ok because he is only joking? Or what society conciders masculine?
BTW I think people should respect the label an individual gives themself. Who are we to doubt or attempt to out someone, especially someone we know so little about?
