In regard to pop radio, if you aren't one of the usual suspects, and you are trying to break through, what seems to be working are tracks that are very different and distinct. My KISS station is still playing the heck out of Adele, Gotye, Fun, and Alex Clare.

Looks quite a bit different from my KISS station in Chicago. I still say if you aren't an established artist on radio, you need a song that will get you noticed. I think Trespassing COULD be that song. Of course, kicked-up promo has to happen as well.
