Does the voice box count as a body part? I suppose so, but I would prefer not to see the photos. Thanks.

Weird that so many people have reported Trespassing being a non-Glambert favourite, it's either been Shady, Naked Love or Cuckoo here! According to our resent member poll Shady at 41 votes is our most popular, but Trespassing at 21 beats NL at 1 and Cuckoo at 3. I think Trespassing now followed by Shady could be a winning formula.

I love Trespassing! It should have been the first single, for a whole bunch of different reasons. In regard to pop radio, if you aren't one of the usual suspects, and you are trying to break through, what seems to be working are tracks that are very different and distinct. My KISS station is still playing the heck out of Adele, Gotye, Fun, and Alex Clare. All of their singles ( except for Alex Clare's) were big hits on AAA first and showed a consistent presence in the Top 5 on iTunes for weeks before CHR caught on. Alex Clare's song has moved up SO slowly, but it had massive promo on a commercial for Internet Explorer 9. If you watched TV at all, you heard that song everyday for weeks before it hit the radio stations. Of course, it helps that it is a catchy, cool song! There are hundreds of different or distinct songs that are available to play, but only a handful ever make it into the top 20. They need to crossover from another radio format or have something big pushing them like a commercial or the Olympics, etc.

That Trespassing is going to get a big promo push, whether it is Idol or something else. All I am saying is that "radio-friendly" isn't the answer, and pop radio WILL play unique, quirky, non-CHR sounding songs if they are served up in the right way and in a big way. Basically, I don't think there is a formula for CHR/KISS radio success anymore

TSP isn't going to be a crossover hit from AAA or Country. lol As a third single from the album, with two singles that struggled already released, Trespassing is going to need something BIG pushing it up the hill. If that something isn't an Idol announcement, RCA better have something more than PLL on its agenda for pushing this single.

Basically, I don't think there is a formula for CHR/KISS radio success anymore CHR (Contemporary Hits Radio) stations play hits. Trespassing needs to be "a hit" somewhere AND prove that target radio listeners what to hear it before CHR stations will support it strongly. Hard for it to jump up on iTunes even with a big TV performance. Idol --even being an Idol judge -- will not get a song airplay. Example, Mariah's single. The Voice will not ensure anything either -- Example, Cee Lo Green. >> And even a ton of pop radio support will not assure a song is a #1 hit or even makes BB Top 10. Look at the current #1 Pop song -- Demi Lovato's Give Your Heart a Break -- peaked at #16 on the BB Hot 100 (because of radio airplay points), and at #21 on Digital Songs. Maybe it will move up on sales, but not sure how much more CHR stations can play this song. Currently the #1 Pop Radio song, #27 on iTunes. >> And a song can be #1 in digital sales and not get support from Pop Radio -- Idol alums specialize in this -- look at P2: 36 33 PHILLIP PHILLIPS Home 1109 910 199 4.990 BB Top 10 twice -- both times on digital sales. IMO, Home is an example of a song that just does not fit the CHR target audience that well. Sales alone are not enough. >> I think if Trespassing can prove that listeners 15-29/35 want to listen to it, than it will get a shot on Pop Radio. OR if it rockets to the top of iTunes and stays in the Top 10 for a while. I am not expecting it to sell magically so either it is the new NFL theme song (that is something big and repetitive) or they need to push it hard to HAC.
