: : www.reflector-online.com/life/fall-2012-tv-preview-1.2758658#.UEoYKNaPW8AFall 2012 TV PreviewPublished: Friday, September 7, 2012 THE VOICE Sept. 10 on NBC at 7 p.m. Kali Horman “The Voice” returns to NBC for its third season of talented vocalists competing for a recording contract. “The Voice” features Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Adam Lambert and Blake Shelton as the coaches to 48 vocalists. The show consists of three stages. The first stage, called the blind audition, helps the coaches choose their 12 team members from the voices they hear without seeing the performer singing. Then, there is a battle phase where the coaches face two of their team members together to sing a duet. Perhaps Adam Lambert's wife, Miranda Lambert, will perform this year.

Just wonder if it is because I don't watch Idol, I am not an Idol fan, I take it easier than many of you here even though I really wanted him to get the gig ? I am not a huge Idol fan, but can't help feel the massive exposure and the chance for America to get to see what a nice person he is would have been just an absolute game changer. "the chance for America to get to see what a nice person he is would have been just an absolute game changer" won't happen till next year. If Trespassing can be a massive hit, Adam may not need the Idol exposure. Currently, the Idol promos won't expose Adam's music, therefore it won't help a lot making Trespassing a massive hit, eventhough it may give Adam great exposure if he was to be a judge. . Will you go and buy someone's music just because you hear he/she will be a judge on Idol? I won't. Will the radio pick up someone's music just because he'she will be an Idol judge? No, Mariah is an example. I just hope the label has a great promo plan for Trespassing and expsose the MUSIC to a larger audience. So don't be sad.

Question: when do we start requesting Trespassing from our local stations, Z100, etc? Is it too early?

I wasn't talking about me and the people I know, and I would NEVER make a generalization based only on my environment. I don't really like to generalize, period. And if you read carefully what I wrote, I said he certainly had fans over here, so it wasn't really a generalization either. I was talking about people on the streets. It's the general perception, though he does have his loyal fanbase... But the majority of the people don't take him too seriously here, at least not now. He was really big years ago. Just not now. And I didn't say he was a joke either, did I? He's not a joke. We just don't take him that seriously anymore. That's all. You don't know what the majority of the people think or else his albums and singles wouldn't still do well in Spain, and they do. You are speaking for "the majority of the people". It's like when people say " everyone thinks Bieber or One Direction" is a joke. The facts and figures say otherwise. Now, everyone that person knows may think their a joke, but that doesn't mean that millions of other people feel like those in their little world feel. But, but Bieber and One Direction appeal to a certain segment, and their appeal will fade. Sorry but many do feel they are joke.

Does no one else feel sad about this? Is it just stiff-upper-lip time or what. I feel kind of like after the Idol finale - empty feeling in pit of stomach. Guess I was clinging on to hope unjustified. Now I have to hope and pray he gets seen and heard by the masses somehow. :( Feeling better now. Adam is unique, looking forward to other great opportunities for him. i just need to be patient.

I just got home today from a one-week-vacation without internet and I am sooooooo HAPPY that this idol-speculation-thingy is over now It would have been great for Adam to get it but now I can see other things waiting for him on the horizon (Trespassing, Queen-Tour i.e.).
