My Fault and In Rock magazines arrived!
And why do I just stack all these magazines and "preserve" them in my closet? Is it that I do not want fingers all over these Adam pages...(except mine...haha!)
OR ...even though I am out of the closet re Adam..the "depth of my sin" is still a bit sensitive. (I get kidded enough!)
Yes the pics of Sauli showcase the boyfriend and armpits and elbow tat very well. The moody look is so in tune with the flavour of the other pictures in the magazine. It does seem odd that they photoshopped Adam so much in his Fault debut. Sauli is also in kahoots with Skingraft. Lots of advertising for them too in Sauli's article.
Great coverage and PR for Adam in, In Rock. He is the first article in the magazine, and the 2 pages preceding it are close-ups of Adam advertising his Summer Sonic involvement.
IN Rock always does a great job with Adam!
The article is focused on the Hammersmith performance on the 12th. In side the cover is a huge fold out picture of Adam and Brian May (reverse side an August calendar and One Direction).
The Adam side will never be outdated!!!! ;D
All the shots seem to be from the same song/or part of the concert. I guess beggars cannot be choosy but sheesh...the guy is noted for his "looks" and they showcase the equivalent of 8 pages of Adam all in the same outfit. I would have loved to have seen his various "costumes" showcased.
Dragon Attack... red in glossy? Shiny pants in glossy!
Looking forward to pics or vids from NY Fashion Week and videos from Texas. A long week ahead??? Hope not!

As Adam says here, "I'm gonna keep being that weird fucking fag, and having a REALLY good time doing it." ILHSFM Love that. And it brought to mind my very favorite speech by Adam ever at this sort of event--his speech to the PFLAG folks. Here it is again for those of you interested--the whole thing is sweet but fast forward to around 5.30 for the Adam part: I'm eternally grateful for Adam's blessed life, and that sunniness that those blessings have buried safe inside him. I especially love the ending, which seems particularly relevant to the conversation today. Yeah, LOL, at Adam's "It's really fun, it's not hard." But also,  Because as he says, "you know, when you go to where there are other people like you, it's not so hard." FUBAR's website might look kinda skanky (largely, I get the feeling, they're in on the joke), but I'm sure when Adam goes he runs into a ton of his old friends, he listens to some great DJ's from his community, he sees some great acts, draggy and otherwise, and people feel free to be whoever the hell they want to be. And that, as Adam says, is EVERYTHING.  |

Most of the outlets that have been reporting rumors are known to be in bed with Idol and/or Fox and controlled leaks are a legitimate PR tool. While it is certainly possible that they are disorganized enough to leave the decision down to the last possible minute it seems pretty stupid for a show that the media is already questioning its survivability to allow them to be portrayed in the press as bumbling idiots who are down to 4th or 5th choice on Judges. If they did sign Adam and Pharrell early then when they announce they can say "we've had these guys signed all along but decided late to add a 4th". If the 4th is Keith then he's really only second choice because Brad Paisley didn't take it. We'll know one way or another by 9/22 at the latest since they obviously have to have the judges in place for the first judge callback. Speaking of which, why would they have scheduled that if they still didn't know who the judges would be? Anyway, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. No big deal. |

So, Adam went to a gay bar last night. This is news? He's been doing that for ten years. If he has to homogenize and sanitize his image to the point of changing his lifestyle in order to be on Idol, then Idol is NOT for him. Should he stop appearing in public with his partner, too? Or is that acceptable, the "right kind of gay" for the mainstream? I'm glad to read that he is out, having fun, hanging with his boys, and is still able to do that despite being a celebrity. You go, girl! :Clap: Adam is always true to himself and this is one reason why we love him so much. |

Just wanted to say I am not getting back on the Idol train. I have high blood pressure so have to be careful about overloading on stress. I am working on tranquility, and zenning a little.
The common refrain here "Adam will be OK" is so true.
The fact that my own handsome and intelligent son, who is just a little younger than Adam, had to take his college degree to China to teach English because lack of opportunity at home, helps me keep things in perspective. Adam is living a blessed live compared to many an average bloke.

Thanks for elaborating, Rihannsu! I always read your posts very carefully and find them thought provoking.
I noted your comment that "It has made me a bit suspicious that several people connected to Nigel in one way or another were suddenly rumored to be in negotiation with Idol." I watch So You Think You Can Dance and find everything extremely calculated on that show (by Nigel, of course). So the shoe fits well, I think.

What I want to know about the Fubar tweet is what does the all caps "EVERYTHING" mean? And yes, I agree that the web site looked a bit sleezy. Oh well. It means he had a GREAT night! (It's "Adam speak") He's used that "turn of a phrase" several times in the past. Just an expression. Many people use it. He had a great time. and....hahahahahaha! to Buder! (that was funny!) |

I wouldn't worry about FUBAR any more than Enrique needs to worry about a hit single called "Tonight I'm Fucking You" or Nicki Minaj tweeting "...your mother's a whore." If Idol wants edgy this is what they get. Great to see you! You have been MIA for too long! |
