Reading "Time for Miracles" just made my day! Kinda puts things in perspective, doesn't it? Our BB is a world-wide super-star, adored by millions. He is also just "the guy next door" "wearing a costume", as he joked in an interview last spring. Mega-talented yet unassuming, kind, respectful, and charming. His career may not have taken the path I anticipated three years ago, but he is experiencing great success doing what he loves.
By now, y'all know I was hooked at "Mama..." As I got to know more about Adam through video clips and interviews, I became enthralled by the man as well as the performer. As he talked about his struggles as a teen and his arduous journey to "make it" in the music business, I recognized that kid --- that awkward musical theater geek. Very much like kids I had worked with in music and theater when I was going through my own struggles being that weird kid who played violin, ruined the grade curve, and wasn't one of the in-crowd. Adam's success has been a triumph for all those musical theater geeks I remember fondly from my youth. Talented, passionate, creative, aspiring. None ever "made it", but, Adam did in their stead.
Time for Miracles, indeed.

The run off the stage with the new jacket part was so funny/cute/wonderful!! Showman, singer, fashion icon, world ambassador. Yep, worth the hours and hours, and..... well, you get it, that I have spent these last 3 1/2 years. Could not be prouder of everything about Adam the entertainer and Adam the man. |

Continuing with watching tv... trying to spot Sauli in the audience of Dancing with the stars, Finland.
