smokeyvera, have you shown your son this video? Maybe knowing that somebody else felt the same way--and hearing how he overcame those feelings--would help your son. {{{{HUGS}}}} to him.

The Chinese appearance was absolutely wonderful - the performance & the banter & him just standing there smiling. He fits in so well with every situation, and they obviously love him to bits. Almost as much as we do.  As for TfM, I've always loved it - even when it was considered "uncool" . LOL Anyway, watching the stream today helped knock me back into full-time fandom. I was so out of the loop after having been away for more than 2 weeks. :D |

Adam in NZ in TWO days!!!!!!!!!! Get to see him at the signing day after tomorrow..... AND.... A DJ from the Edge radio station tweeted that Adam will be in their studio Thurs morning and invited some of us fans up to the studio!!!!!!   Can not believe how this week is unfolding..... Only thing yet to know is if Adam is actually going to be SINGING while he is here??!!! I can't imagine that he won't be.... he's a SINGER here to promote his MUSIC after all!!!! Sadly we are still waiting for Trespassing to be played on the Edge and ZM..... Frustrating to say the least!! We are requesting as told to by Sony, but no luck yet.... >:( They will HAVE to play it when he's here tho, right????!!!!! Right now RL is calling - gotta go do some work so I can relax and enjoy the rest of the week - thank God for school holidays at the moment = perfect timing for Stalking Berting!!! ;D |

This is so moving. It really is wonderful to see how Adam is inspiring bullied teenagers. This really made my cry!!!! My son gets bullied also, not for being gay, but for his acne, not being in total command of the English language, being in some remedial classes and just existing. The last 3 weeks have been tough. He broke down Friday and said he wanted to pull a trigger on himself. Now if that didn't scare the crap out of me and we don't have guns. But the thought of him being broken. Thank god he shares and we can talk, and he has some teachers on his side. His psychologist really heps him thru, too. Force fields up !!!! So good that your son is willing and able to open up and talk about what is going on. Please add my voice to those telling him "it gets better." He just needs to hang in there for a couple more years, forcefields up, and repeat the mantra that this too shall pass. There will be happy, exciting, satisfying times ahead for him. Pass along our hugs. |
