QUESTION: In Under Pressure, Adam always positions himself to Roger's left side (so he's on the viewers' right). WHY DOES HE DO THIS?? Just a guess, but it might have something to do with the monitors and Roger's hearing (He has some hearing loss - so maybe he hears better out of that ear so he wants to be able to hear the harmonies better) But that's just a guess. Adam Lambert @adamlambert@muse's Panic Station is so SICK!!!! gimme that funk rock boys! so tasty... WOW That is great!!!! I love Muse. Muse is another band highly Queen influenced. I always hoped to see a collaboration and am unsure why I haven't seen one yet. Muse always praises Queen and quite often have both Bri and Rog praised them...Someone make it so  But also as proof...the guitar riff at 1:37 sounds much like a speeded up riff of More Of That Jazz throughout the song...but specifically :16 during the verse...or maybe it's me. |

Gee, Panic Station was my least favourite song on the new Muse album, just sounds like it's trying too hard to be Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand. At least me and Adam agree on how amazeballs Madness is :wub:

It took me a long time to come to terms with being a fangirl. But I am 2years in now, and just like I no longer try to fight my chocolate cravings, I no longer try to break myself of my Adam addiction (as a matter of fact, ladymazerati says Adam IS "chocolate love"). But when I read things like this Chinese producers experience with Adam (or watch his most powerful performances) that small part of me that still questions my sanity, takes a sigh of relief. Sure, I use Adam as a means to escape the less happy parts of life, and dedicate far too much time doing so, but I know it isn't because of something missing inside me--it is because of the greatness inside of him. I didn't seek him, he found me. His magnatism, both on and off the stage, is undeniable. And it ain't just me, world! So fall in line! luv this. Adam is like chocolate. The expectations are so high that your next taste will be smooth and velvety lusciousness that you are not sure if it was really as good as you remember (even if it was only 15 minutes ago, lol) And then every time it really is just as good as you remember if not better. Addicting. |

Did anyone just see the story about Rodriguez on 60 minutes? A musician from Detroit Mi who in the 70's sold two albums to critical acclaim but never had any success in the US.He became an icon in South Africa and sold millions of albums but he never knew it. He went on to live a very poor life as a general laborer, lived in a run down house with only a wood burning stove for heat. He is now being discovered all over again because of a documentary film made by a swedish film maker. It made me really sad because sometimes the music business in the US just doesn't know what it has. Sound familier??????  |

So good that your son is willing and able to open up and talk about what is going on. Please add my voice to those telling him "it gets better." He just needs to hang in there for a couple more years, forcefields up, and repeat the mantra that this too shall pass. There will be happy, exciting, satisfying times ahead for him. Pass along our hugs. I tell him all the time It Gets Better and this will be the worst of it. We have devised schemes for him to get thru it. The schemes will be a win for him!!!! I also just watched the video, I cried so hard watching it, I'm 18 now and done with school (thank god) but I was bullied so bad when I was in school bad enough for my mom to actually just that "enough was enough" and put me into home schooling. Now I'm doing amazing and planning to start school soon for fashion design in LA at FIDM. But it still makes me sick to hear that this type of bulling is still going on in the school system. And that it seems to just be getting worse, I don't understand why there isn't more of an effort put in by the teachers and faculty to stop this, I don't see how bulling that's bad enough for a kid to want to take their life is going unnoticed there should be stricter rules on bulling in the school systems. And they should show the kids doing the bulling that what they're doing hurts and effects these kids more than they know, And I know from personal experience that it does leave permanent scars and really lowers your self worth and confidence and image of your self. |

OK, what do y'all do for ~preparations if you know you're gonna see Adam in person??? - manicure/pedicure - major money at the hair salon (new color?) - eyelash tinting? - new outfit?? - fast trip to the dentist for teeth whitening? - doctor's appt for valium/ativan prescription? Just curious.  Yup pretty much!!! BUT...if he left yesterday...he's on a United flight. They have the shortest times...and he would arrive on Monday in Auckland.  You NZ GlitterTribe BB's.....have the best time EVAH!! |
