Well, still, co-headline is a better alternative, imo. ;D

Made me wonder if Adam is just being his naturally complimentary self or also angling to do a few tour dates together--in addition to his own solo tour--since Bruno has a new CD coming out at the end of the year and will probably be touring in the spring, too. I have doubts that Bruno would go for it, though.
he's just being his naturally good-natured complimentary self, imo.

Well, still, co-headline is a better alternative, imo. ;DNo, I meant he could be an opener for someone REALLY BIG in venues like outdoor stadiums for PART of their International tour. My original comment: Adam could still do a headlining or co-headlining tour Internationally and he could also do both in the US. Many artists do a mixed bag of concert options.

Well, I remember I whole-heartedly agreed with that idea as well, especially in some parts of Europe but headline/co-headline at home, even internationally.
He needs the exposure, if not from radio then the concerts where he truly shines!

Okay! where are my fellow night awls? seoulmate? betty? bobo? belle?...anybody? sigh...miss you, gelly!Sigh. I'm here. Tired because I've been cooking/entertaining all day because of Thanksgiving. And I just don't do these discussions, that's all. I don't even know wtf "co-headlining" or "co-headliners" even means. Just two acts of equal length? I mean, somebody's gotta go last, and traditionally the last act up is the headliner. LOL I have a vision of Adam being a co-headliner with idk... the "Whatever Band", and 50% of the audience is there for Adam, and 50% is there for the Whatevers, and if Adam goes first then all his fans will disappear before the Whatevers take the stage. And if Adam goes last? Maybe all the Glamberts will hang out in the bar and at the merch tables for half the concert, waiting for Adam to show up.

That happened at my first Adam concert in San Diego! The docents working as ushers were in a frenzy trying to tell people the concert was starting and people were wandering around the lobby!

There is absolutely no proof, that I know of, that says co headlining or opening for a bigger act brings in more new fans. It didn't work for Kris or David Cook. Didn't work Orianthi, for that matter. Worked to get Jordin lots of followers on Twitter but sure didn't work for her last album or single. Q3, has said that the most cost effective and revenue earning tours play in mid size venues. 3-5,000. Adam shouldn't have any trouble filling up venues of that size. I am picturing the official tour being in venues very similar to Glam Nation. Oh, and Daughtry has to tour with someone else because he has had trouble selling tickets this time around. I like the guy, even though I don't like his music. It has to be hard to go from 5million albums 6 years ago, to just making Gold (I think he did.) His sales for album #2 (and singles) and album # 3 are just slightly ahead of Adam's. Plus, it's been out for almost a year. ETA: Just read at MJ's that Daughtry is doing a one month co-tour with 3 Doors Down, mid Nov to mid Dec. Looks like the venue sizes run between 4,000 - 7,000 IF Adam can sell out venues that run between 4,000-7,000 all over the country for a few months this summer, then I will agree with you. (I'm not talking about #10 tickets at a fairgrounds either) I have a feeling we will see a much different response across the country this summer, than we did two summers ago, for a solo tour for Adam. However, Adam is going to do venues around 500-1500 all across the US, I'm sure he will sell out or come very close. Everyone has their times that they open for others or co-headline, EVERYONE! Carrie, Kelly, Daughtry, Rihanna, Bruno, Taylor Swift, even Pink! (who had to open for JT in the US even though she had a platinum selling album and radio hits) Radio isn't working. If Adam is the showman and performer that we all think he is, why wouldn't the strategy of getting him in front of music lovers, who have never heard him sing live or watched him perform, be a good idea? Why didn't anything happen for Kris or Cook out of their tour situations? Because they are both as boring as hell! Concert goers didn't care about a boring WGWG in a plaid shirt! Adam is NOT Cook or Kris, that's the difference! ETA: We should compare first albums to first albums off of AI, etc. Adam is experiencing the same drop all of the AI contestants experienced in the past with their second albums. Daughtry sold around 1 million copies of his second album in the US, Adam will probably make it to 200K with his second. You constantly amaze me with your knowledge.. inside information or crystal ball???

I felt that last fall Adam wanted Bruno Mars to agree to let him use one of his songs on the CD and was working toward that goal.
