I haven't read all of this thread, but I just want to say that it is great to hear from so many intelligent, and like-minded, people who happen to be Adam fans too.
I think it is fairly apparent that Adam attracts some of more intelligent lovers of pop music. Of course, it is a gross oversimplification to equate intelligence with liberal politics. But when Republican Party orthodoxy hinges on denial of global warming, the belief that a pregnancy born of rape is a gift of God, that all form of contraception are the devil's doing, etc., then more reasonable people will tend to vote Democratic.
Anyway, I just wanted to pop in here to say that I did my best Adam "follow" today, and cast my vote for Mr. O.

It's great to have this thread. I'm really too nervous to watch any news right now.

Last election we were in Zagreb, Croatia on election day, so we voted early. Lots of good vibes in Europe for Obama in 2008. This year we made it home from vacation yesterday and once again, the people in the countries we visited had strong opinions about the US election. We walked to our polling place this morning, and it was nice to drop my ballot in the box this year - I have all of my extremities, large and small, crossed for the right outcome. Glad to see a potential win for Tammy Baldwin and yea for Elizabeth Warren. And on a very selfish note - I am so effing glad the campaigning is over - a shout out to the universe - someone please begin to control the money spent by candidates. It was awful, and I live in a solidly blue state.

May he and his kind soon go the way of the dodo and the dinosaur. Cannot express how slimy I find him. I wish I had that green-faced smilie.

OMG... 49,6% for both candidates in Florida right now. :4OMG:
What if it ends 50% for both? What happens then?

That's what the map says. But I don't understand how. I mean, it says that Mitt got more votes than Obama, so how did Obama win? :dunno: I'm clueless, our system is so different than yours...
