WOW! So glad to hear the Tammy Baldwin news. For me one of the most disheartening facts of our current politics is the way that Citizens United has opened the flood gates to PACS controlled by anti-democratic millionaires.
I made it an special point this year to make whatever contributions I could to the candidates I admired or felt deserved to win. Like many, I contributed to the Obama campaign, which, with an army of small donors, was able to compete fairly well with Romney's big money donors. But it was. I think, the Senate and House candidates that had the toughest time trying to stand up to the Repub PACs. Tammy Baldwin was one who had to fight against millions of dollars of Karl Rove ads. So I am gals I was able to at least send her some small amount of money, and to see that it made a difference.
Now I am hoping for a similar win by Claire McCaskill here in Missouri in her contest with the very ugly Todd Akin (the guy who believes a woman who is legitimately raped can't get pregnant).

AfterElton þ@AfterElton Tammy Baldwin did not win. She is currently down in the count. The AP has retracted their call on that race. #GayVote
