O'Reilly is right. This minority feels he is entitled to being treated with dignity and respect...which may never come from most present day Republican candidates.

[/IMG] I'm clueless, our system is so different than yours...
Projections are based on how each small area in a state is expected to to vote (a gazillion polls), so they know who has reported and who has not, and can make a very accurate guess. They've learned not to call too early, so my guess is they will not call it until they are darn sure. ETA: What do I know - see Tammy Baldwin count above. :

Don't worry about all the red. Most of those states don't have big enough populations or enough electoral votes to matter that much. Often the election map looks predominantly red because the south and the midwest tend to be more conservative, but the states with really big populations (New York and California, for example) are blue.

So glad it looks like Warren has won her race. I love this country but I am not citizen yet so could not vote - but encouraged hubby to vote for Obama. I think MA Dems. turned out in force this time due to shock of losing Ted Kennedy's seat.

I just saw that Chris Martin (D) beat Linda McMahon (R) in the Senate contest in Connecticut. Not all women are loved by other women and gay men.
