Roger Simon @politicoroger Obama wins NH, meaning Romney loses his birth state, home state, and 1 of 2 vacation home states. When he loses CA, it will be a sweep. Not quite. He won Utah, as expected. He has a home in Park City, UT, and is considered a native son because he's Mormon. There was no way he was going to lose here.
So glad to see Richard Mourdock--Mr. God-Intended-Rape-Pregnancies--lost to his Democratic challenger!

Allow me to distract myself by speaking of the comments saying they don't understand hate like Americans do. Yes, there's a lot of anger re this election and the direction we take socially, politically, and economically. A lot. More than I've witnessed before. But considering we are a country of over 300 million people the fact that some nut hangs an Obama dumby doesnt really repressent us as a whole. It is in our nature to speak freely and argue just as it is in our nature to feel we have some control in how this country is run. The world is in transition with no obvious answers and the whole world is watching us. It is also our culture to be on top, something threatened today. We have 3 million square miles of area, that's...ummm...a lot...of square km. so we do have regional differences and political pockets, but far less differences than any other area of this size in the world. Americans are Americans and just like we disagree we come together just as easily. We are polite (ask Sauli), take turns, and feel a general group mindset that we are all in this together. When I think of the football (soccer) culture of competetiveness and hate, I think that would never happen in the US. Tomorrow half of us will be pissed but we are still one. We are lucky to live somewhere that we dont breed hate, but where we can express our anger, choose our leaders, and have very little issue with the polls.
I hope that doesn't come across as a blubbering idiot American or but I feel the stress and disbelief of what is going on too. I just don't think a few incidences or even an era is anything more than an era.
Well gotta check the numbers again... carry on.

Here are the problems in Florida
Voter Suppression
A stunning 23 percent of African Americans, the highest figure in the nation, cannot vote due to laws on felon disenfranchisement in Florida. A law signed by Gov. Rick Scott (R) in 2011 also limits voting rights, by making it harder for ex-felons to restore their eligibility and cutting early voting days nearly in half. The result has been chaos during early voting in places like Miami-Dade County, where people have waited in line for as many as eight hours. Florida also has a photo ID law

[/IMG] What if it ends 50% for both? What happens then?
I'm sorry albiku, but that number it's actually not funny for us in FL. It's REALLY scarry. FL has 29 electoral votes. :-/
