The thing about Ohio that worries me is that I think there is sabatage going on. Tagg Romney bought the voting machines thru Bain and the secretary of state Hudsell has put on an illegal patch to the computers that could very well be sabotage. I would question Romney's win in Ohio, and contest and file a law suit based upon this information. Currently the info re the patches has been passed onto the FBI, but I'm not sure how much FBI is pursuing it. This evening will tell. If Romney wins I will wage a woman campaign to get the votes reviewed and possibly have Ohio revote!!!! THIS... I really hate to come across as a conspiracy theory believer because I AM level headed and try to be informed. But yes, I really do think voting sabatage is possible. In Oregon, one county had a volunteer worker already tamper with ballots - in favor of the GOP if I understood correctly - other Oregonians please correct me if incorrect as I messed part of the story. But it was not the voter, but rather the person receiving the ballots... And the GOP just seems much more intense in this win at all costs be it cheating, lies, taking away rights etc. So yes, I do think tampering with the votes is more than possible!

[/IMG] I hear is leading for now, but by how much? P.S. Awww, Spain: instagram.com/p/RsxAkBkaI-/
There really won't be anything conclusive or exciting until after the polls close starting at 7:00 pm Eastern and also no single site to watch returns. A little bit of exit polling is done primarily to discover the most important factors why people voted as they did. So it is going to be a long day.
Word of warning: exit polls will probably start to leak in the afternoon, but remember that they are HIGHLY UNRELIABLE and tend to favor Democrats. (Learned that the hard way with Kerry in '04.) I'd wait to celebrate anything until some more solid information starts coming in from the major news networks, keeping in mind that the Democrats also pushed early voting very vigorously so early returns should disproportionately favor them. Not trying to be a downer--just a warning to keep emotions in check at first; confident we'll get there in the end. Here's a handy guide to weathering the storm: www.tnr.com/blog/electionate/109674/election-day-guide#

Hello! I'm nervious as hell, guys! I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight until I know the results. By the way, we have important news in Spain too. I know this is OT, but our very own republican party (the Partido Popular or PP) lodged an appeal to our Marriage Equality Law (LGBT marriage is legal in Spain since 7 years ago). Today, the Constitutional Court is voting; and if they reach a conclusion, they could rule in favour or against the appeal as soon as this afternoon. Almost 23000 LGBT marriages could be invalidated if the PP wins the appeal. Hopefully, that won't happen... It didn't happen. Spain is celebrating marriage equality as we write.

Chrysler in Ohio gave all workers the day off to go and vote. You know their vote is for Obama. I don't know why today isn't a national holiday. I'd happily give up "Let's Destroy Indigenous People Day", a.k.a. Columbus Day
