Eeeep... OT, but some of the damage from this is only a few miles from me. I've been sitting through this really bad storm and didn't realise this was happening
@weatherwatchnz: Breaking News: Three dead after apparent Auckland tornado confirm Police.
We rarely get tornadoes here :( We get tornadoes here all the time. My advice is stay in a room in the center of your house, at least a place without windows or even better if you have a basement, go there. The weather is so funky right now. No one knows what to expect anymore. We had a temp of 61 degrees yesterday, in December :dunno: It's usually around 15 or 20 degrees. Somethings up!!!

Thanks all for well wishes
Tornadoes are really rare here and I'm sure they are just 'babies' compared to what you guys get in the US and what ripped through bama's neighbourhood. It is even rarer for anyone to be killed
I agree, weather patterns all over the world are seriously out of whack. We've ~supposedly just started our summer and I'm sitting here in a jumper and long cardigan in the middle of a winter storm >:(

Interesting Grammy article. It certainly explains why all the usual suspects dominate the big four categories just like they dominate the airways. It is all for TV ratings rather than honoring art. This diminishes the value of winning this award a lot. I remember reading this article alleging that Chris Brown had bought his Grammy. I've never thought of the awards in the same way ever since then. Actually, when Adam lost I felt the same way as it was not supposed to be based on sales and IMO Adam's song had the best vocals of all the nominees. www.inquisitr.com/241699/chris-brown-bought-grammy-producer-is-fired/

I just have to log in and comment - even tho I haven't anything new to say - after checking the thread at work. I cannot enter into the conversation from the hospital ("Sorry, Doc - that heartbeat sounds like 'Runnin'!), but so often I just want to give a shout to the honest, enticing sentiments of you Atopers. You, my friends, my kindred spirits, understand.
Irish, your post just echoed what I've been feeling about 'Trespassing'. After a weekend with a new audio set-up, listening to hours and hours of holiday music - from classical to old-school Frank Sinatra - I put on Adam, and was stunned by the complexity and range of his vocals. I was more affected by 'Pop That Lock' than the 'Hallelujah Chorus'!!
This album really took me, again, through the spiral of emotion - from strong, eager, 'I dare you' defiance to feeling far more exposed than naked love. All this emotion from one VOICE! All from the man whose voice inspired me to see.
So, I will just say please, please, please, please, please, please . . . . . . . . . . .
Please.

Off topic, though maybe not since the topic has veered toward Adam's accessories today 8-), but in my Internet travels, I saw that Christian Louboutin, in collaboration with Marlon Gobel, has created a spiked loafer collection: t.co/3lz9HgsX The collection made me think of Adam. And the shoes are in Trespassing colors, too! Louboutin and Gobel have made some glittery sneakers as well. And here's another Adamesque shoe of theirs: instagram.com/p/ScnBM5gFX_/I ran across the first photo on the Twitter page of a skincare company I've been stalking, waiting for them to announce a sale. I only discovered the company a few days ago, and the testimonials for one of their products made me think of Adam, too: www.yuliskincare.com/products-page/serum/cell-perfecto-p/ I think Adam is beautiful just the way he is, but I know he's expressed unhappiness over some scarring before. I don't know much about the company other than what I've learned from the product reviews and posts from other bloggers that I've read. I gather that they're a bit underground and rely mainly on word-of-mouth and they do seem to have a small celebrity clientele. There are probably other products out there that claim to do the same thing, but that type of scarring isn't one of my issues (I'm looking for something to deal with perpetual hyperpigmentation and the fact that all of a sudden this year I have visible pores on my face, WTH and sigh) so I've never really paid attention to product claims or marketing for that concern before. I always thought that maybe you needed laser or injections or some kind of gadget to treat it. Anyway, I have no idea if the product actually works and this is just one of many product lines I've been lemming. But their products seem to be all-natural, so maybe they couldn't do much harm. Just putting it out in the universe in case it might somehow help Adam or someone here.

Shoes are cool, Misa, but how would they work with leather pants????? I think they would work with some his suits instead of the creepers.
