"My December" was not nominated but is RIAA Platinum.

Best New Artist is one of the most competitive categories. Kind of like Pop Vocal Performance now that they have combined male and female.

It was discussed heavily at the time. His BNA Grammys would have been the 2011 Grammys and the nominees for Best New Artist were...
