She did, I guess Arjan forgot to put her in his tweet. The GRAMMYs @thegrammysRecord Of The Year noms: Fun. (@ournameisfun) Ft @janellemonae “We Are Young”, @gotye Ft @kimbramusic “Somebody That I Used to Know” @frank_ocean “Thinkin About You”, @taylorswift13 “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” @theblackkeys “Lonely Boy”, @kelly_Clarkson “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” Just a drive by post to note that Fun and Gotye can probably thank Glee for their nominations... both got massive exposure and subsequent radio and sales from their songs being covered by the Gleeks... Gotye just won a boatload of awards at the Australian Grammy's (aka ARIA awards) so is having a huge year. Gotye and Fun are going to battle it out for this one. SO glad to see no Call Me Maybe.

Trespassing is a fantastic album, Grammy nom or not. Absolutely one of the best of the year. Just think of the awesome back catalog of Adam's music that listeners will discover (and he'll have to sell) when he does get that breakthrough nomination!

I'm glad Pink got nominated, as she has been a favorite of mine for a long time. Most of the others are pretty good, and I am comforted by knowing that some amazing artists that had really well reviewed albums this year didn't get nominated at all. Springsteen had a great new album out, and Usher did too -- no nominations that I could see. At least Madonna didn't get nominated for MDNA (which wasn't that good).
At least Adam is in very good company this year, and I don't think he is too upset by any of this.

OK, these are the first nominations I take issue with. I can see this happening every year, since Grammy put male & female together. Radio favors the female Pop divas. I can see years in a row with no male nominations in Pop Vocal.
Set Fire To The Rain [Live] -Adele
Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)- Kelly Clarkson
Call Me Maybe- Carly Rae Jepsen
Wide Awake - Katy Perry
Where Have You Been- Rihanna
^^^^ Three of those are just wrong^^^^ And no P!NK. WOW!!!!! Carly Rae, Rihanna, and Katy instead of P!NK is really bad!

Well - I am not a great Kelly fan - just got tired of hearing her every 5 minutes on the radio I guess. I know there are huge Kelly fans here, so can anyone tell me - was she nominated for "My December"?
ETA-I thought Adele cleaned up on the Grammys last year. How is she eligible again this year? :dunno:
