Not sure about "blacklisting" but that is definitely worth questioning. Since I haven't seen the RS list I shouldn't comment, but I will. Was the top 50 based on their own reviews of the various albums? Was the list compiled by the same person or persons who did the reviewing? Maybe the person who reviewed Trespassing had no input into the top 50 list? I don't know - just grasping at straws here. Because it IS infuriating.

To be quite honest I think obvious fans, chastising the radio station, are totally counter-productive. As are comments slagging off other singers, modern music and stating that they are senior citizens - proving that they are not the desired demographic once again. A brief but enthusiastic comment would be much more useful IMO. Not wanting to rain on anyone's parade but this whole situation has arisen so often before and providing Ryan with further ammunition to make fun of Adam's fans is not a good thing. Sorry to disagree with you here. I have called my radio stations many times over & all I get is we'll try to squeeze Adam Lambert in,which they never do. I have listened to countless advertisements and lousy songs waiting for the stations to squeeze Adam in.If they think lying to the public is going to get me to buy their advertiser's products, they have another thing coming.. I think the more noise we make the better,I'm certainly not worried if I piss them off,how could they be any worse to Adam. He has done interview after interview with radio stations across America,The DJs smile in his face and of course don't have permission from the suits to play him.BS and hypocrisy. I think we should complain more not less.Just sayin Adam needs his Glamberts to address the issues .. In this case, the issue is,why does an album that Has made it to #1 on BB get rejected by a large part of radio.. WHY???Why does a Grammy nominee for WWFM get no attention. But it won't make any difference and simply reinforces the impression that Adam only appeals to older people (and I am certainly no spring chicken myself). Obviously this isn't true and he has a lot of younger fans but they are not the ones who are the most vocal and spend time pursuing the stations. They will continue to exploit Adam's fanbase for hits when they want to and will simply play what they have been instructed. Glamberts were very instrumental in supporting Adam to his BB number 1 but there is only so much they can do and sometimes I think there needs to be a little more subtlety in the way they approach radio.

With amazing hits such as Better Than I Know Myself, Never Close Our Eyes, and Runnin this album separates seriousness and fun, giving you an album to remember. wal - is that a website where anyone can contribute? This was posted in the numbers thread but it may affect some of our "Adam Stanning Techniques", so I'm re-posting it in the main thread, and a big thank you to fooffyschmoofer!
Rihannsu posted this link to a Billboard article in the numbers thread, which explained what really happened to those missing view counts. Thank you, Rihannsu!

BTW, glad it was a good read for some folks, I mean that Katy Perry article.

Maybe .. but I know how I've approached radio, It's been, I would love to hear Adam Lambert's Trespassing. Thank you. You'll try to fit him in. Oh that would be great. Isn't that pretty subtle?? Just sayin. If we don't ask ,we will never get.Maybe there are some fans who are nasty, but we've been warned to not be bsc after the first album.. I'm going to venture to say that I believe most fans are respectful.I respect your opinion, but have to be true to myself.. which is to try to right what I think is wrong.
