Bali is a tourism area and yes you will see a lot of tourists wear tank tops, shorts and flip flop everywhere, riding bicycle and scooter. But these big group hotels also hold business meetings and coferences. The NY Eve event is in their Grand Ballroom, so I think it's going to be a roundtable seating arrangement? So people will dress up for the event, after all they've paid a lot of money for this night. I wonder what Adam's going to wear? a new suit? ;D I would love to see that DIVAS red carpet suit without the fur coat over it!! I hope we can get a video.

Because of the seating arrangement? LOL. It's NY Eve, people attend this kind of party to have a lot fun and getting crazy and let loose a bit.. even without the help of alcohol seeing Adam and listening to his music will make them want to dance. ;D ;D ;D There is a twitter list which means there are Glamberts there. I predict a great crowd! ohh WOW! Are they coming from the US and Asia? It would be a great and nice surprice for Adam to see familiar faces.

I've wondered how Adam would answer if asked, "How big do you want to be - how rich, how famous, how 'mainstream,' how loved and embraced?" I don't recall him ever answering that question exactly - only him talking about wanting "longevity."
I wonder how Adam would define the level or measure of (professional) success that exists in his wildest dreams . . . because, really, I think whatever that is, he has as good a chance as not of achieving it.
As crazy excellent as Adam's vocal talent is, to me it's his personality that differentiates him from a lot of other singers/stars whose talent I enjoy and admire, but whom I do not overall obsess about (because, other than Adam, I've never obsessed about any celebrity).
So, hosting, judging, having his own show(s) like some comedians have done on cable - that would go a long way in satisfying MY consumer desires, probably more so than even hit records would although of course I hope there are PLENTY of those ahead, too . . .
I'm looking forward to that new thread!

No chance to check Atop for the past while, so am skimming the past several days. I see Aleks was asking about favorite performances of 2012. Favourite 2012 Adam Lambert Performances List so far: ~ Under Pressure, Adam Lambert and Roger Taylor, Kiev, Ukraine ~ Outlaws Of Love, Adam Lambert, Johannesburg, South Africa I like this project and want to add some! The mini concert for Jimmy Kimmel Live was great fun. One memory that stands out is that while lined up along the sidewalk waiting for time to enter, the band started sound check. There were only a few small places where one could look through the fence, so mostly we just listened. Then Adam joined the sound check, and his voice did that amazing thing where it seems to fill up a whole theater, or whatever size venue he is in. But this time it was outdoors, and still his voice filled it up! All the songs that night were great, but I think it was the first time we saw him perform Broken English. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nn0Xwi9LIYE&feature=player_embeddedThe OC Fair/Costa Mesa show had great sound and the audience, a bunch of whom had just wandered in from the fair, were loving Adam. I think it was the first time we saw the horse jacket and the shoes with no socks. Also the first time he performed Pop That Lock. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dj4QR_gAKC8Fantasy Springs 2 had so many great moments - Adam experimenting with how to work the audience. Here he is telling those down in front to get up off their asses. (Apologies that sound is not great for Shady, couldn't find a vid with better sound just now) www.youtube.com/watch?v=35UMi__J1McLast one I'll post - I'm already going on too long... Anyway, I didn't go to this show in Texas that was a bit before Halloween, but I love Kickin' In here. The contrast that the spotlight creates makes it so you can't really see his face, but the energy, the happiness, and the p-funk -ish vibe of Adam in hat and wig and flowing coat are wonderful, joyous. Video is unsteady at first, but does settle down. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIUi1T7nTM8&feature=player_embeddedpeace&love catching up after the holidays .... thank you nonotme, your links are are a treasure chest of gems right down my alley

[/IMG] ... the warm, full sound quality, close up perspective and eye to camera contact, makes it as close as I've ever found (on a video) to the amazing experience of AL live. Down Under: Adam Lambert covers Bob Marley's Is This Love Fan Video by mishness
Oh I can't stop grinning like a fool at this vid, ALL TIME FAVOURITE!!!!! LOOOOOVE IT!!!!! All of it, the dorky-ness, bc he really didnt know what he was doing, the lyric-checking, the melody, the tone of the voice, he was having so much fun .... I just want to hug him ...

I think expecting Adam Lambert fans to sit down and shut up is a losing battle. It's just not ever going to be in the nature of the beast. ;D ;D ;D yep

Meh, I'll take this International non-tour over AI ME TOO.. Gosh if Adam was judging other singers ,I would go crazy wanting him to sing every song the contestants were singing. I mean who could sing them better than Adam. To Add: On Adam staying in America to promote his album. He went to many, many radio stations across the country when Trespassing first came out. Adam leaving the country to sing with Queen just may become legendary. May be more important to Adam's career in the long run than selling more CDS in America. It's about career markers and longevity.Basically it was a risk that paid off and it won eons of respect for Adam's talent around the world. I guess it was a challenge that Adam had to take..I mean how many artists get to front for Queen.

By the same person who made the video above. QueeenAl - you'll want to hug him more!

It was just meant to happen. And it was MAGICAL!! I also think Adam is destined to do something with Bowie. I feel it will happen someday. I'm probably getting lots of this : but that's how I feel.
