Earlier today, I was discussing the concept of Adam on Idol vs his upcoming world tour -- the unnamed tour -- and discussed the concept of global stardom. I believe Adam is on his path and this "Non Name Tour" is one step on that path to true global stardom.

This rings so true to me, it feels right and it fits perfectly. Adam Fucking Lambert - Global Superstar.
So lucky to have found him.

But it won't make any difference and simply reinforces the impression that Adam only appeals to older people (and I am certainly no spring chicken myself). Obviously this isn't true and he has a lot of younger fans but they are not the ones who are the most vocal and spend time pursuing the stations. They will continue to exploit Adam's fanbase for hits when they want to and will simply play what they have been instructed. Glamberts were very instrumental in supporting Adam to his BB number 1 but there is only so much they can do and sometimes I think there needs to be a little more subtlety in the way they approach radio. Maybe .. but I know how I've approached radio, It's been, I would love to hear Adam Lambert's Trespassing. Thank you. You'll try to fit him in. Oh that would be great. Isn't that pretty subtle?? Just sayin. If we don't ask ,we will never get.Maybe there are some fans who are nasty, but we've been warned to not be bsc after the first album.. I'm going to venture to say that I believe most fans are respectful.I respect your opinion, but have to be true to myself.. which is to try to right what I think is wrong. Maybe I don't understand the radio industry in the USA, why can't you confront your radio station for not playing what you want to hear? :dunno: I'm not saying breaking down their doors and making unachievable demands. "If enough people whisper at the same time the message will be heard 10 miles away". Or doesn't it work like that in the USA? I'm asking because I don't know. I'm from a country where we kept our mouths shut about things (both trivial and serious) for way too long and nobody wanted to talk, especially when the big cheeses demanded silience. The current generation however have mighty big mouths  They don't agree, you'll hear them. We call them the "why" generation ;D As for reality shows, I think Adam will be better suited for X-Factor or The Voice. Imagine having him as a mentor, sharing his knowledge. Wow! With AI it's just about judging the performance and that's it. Bit of a waste of good talent. I also don't think he will make stupid remarks like "amazing". On X-factor Demi Levato got under my skin quite a few times, but at least some if her comments could be used to better the performance of the contestant the next time.

Someone here at one point in time called the "No Name Tour" the "Phantom Tour" -- I thought that name fit as well. I'm happy that he has so many performances coming up.

Reality shows are just for few months a year and we could see him twice a week. As he is superactive, he can work on his album or do concerts nearby during his stint. This is good for us who live in forgettable places and could not go to concert. It just so happen that my son has an internet and I know a little how to download youtube. and I have a computer. Many households do not have a computer, much less an internet. So think about us ... if not for the internet, I would not have been addicted. And AI is played in local stations and replayed time and again. Idol is Jan thru the 3rd week of May, 13-17 million people twice a week. The exposure would have been priceless! addicted, are you not in the US? I live in Metro Manila. Tickets are not available yet for the March 1 concert- -just inquired from the venue itself. The sellers have no advise nor any idea of Adam. No posters displayed at Araneta Coliseum nor news related to change of venue except in one blog.

Chiming in late on the "radio doesn't play Adam" discussion... my favorite station for years played BTIKM briefly, NCOE a couple of times and TSP not at all. I continue to request on a regular basis... and they substitute my request with WWFM every.single.time : , which means WWFM is and has been playing at least several times a week since January. So while they are not playing what I request, they are playing Adam's songs. I have no clue why the other songs didn't resonate but they definitely are not "blacklisting"
