Welcome rihannsu! You don't have to tell your weight. Just what your goal is and how you are doing. Unfortunately, I'm not doing so good. Been struggling and it's because I don't feel like cooking and am eating more than I should. Just having a hard time making my self cook when it's so easy to just grab something.
Third week: +1 lb Total: -2 lbs

Y'ALL ARE HAVING FUN on the thread!! chapf and her smilies, Jablea's new avi, recipes and chit chatting...Yah! I am tardy typing this in. I did weigh myself this am and was down 1 pound. Then hubby calls and as he forgot his wallet at home, I took it to him and missed my morning skate. Juneimoon is crushing me. 5x/wk --awesome!!
I need to get my act and motivation ramped up! I wish I had a spring break bathing suit vacation planned but no luck on that score (as yet) haha.Time to get serious for me
Congrats to those who reached a goal or changed a habit, or gave it an effort etc. etc.

I rebounded really badly in November after a health scare that scared me into not eating. Then when everything was ok I relief binged. Bad Jab.

oh, welcome rihannsu! You got it right, just start a posting away. And fiercelier, hang in there with that ankle. I've got a 60 something friend who wears a brace on her formerly broken ankle and who is playing tennis. There are ways.

Thursday - Wall Chair Sits with the Big Exercise Ball
Get out that big exercise ball. You know the one, the one you can sit on. Find a wall you don't have covered with pictures of Adam. Place the ball on the wall about mid-back height, turn around and lean back. You will now do squats or chair sits for an eventual goal of 20 repetitions. The ball helps you "roll" up and down the wall. Your feet should be out far enough that your knees stay directly on top or behind them when you are in your down position. Be careful to not let your feet slide and don't sit too far down the first several times until you know how your knees react. This is a knee rehabilitation exercise which works by strengthening your quad (front of the thigh) muscles.

MISSED LAST WEEKS weigh in, so this loss is for 2 weeks: CHECKING IN: down 1.25 kilos >> total loss to date 2.25 kilos ( 4.95 lbs ) I've missed out a week of my pool exercising because of high winds and monsoonal rains here ... but the weather is clearing now and once we clean all the debris from the pool then I'll get back into my routine. I have continued with a (veggie and fruit) juice only meal for three times a week - minimum - this seems to keep me on the slow but steady weight loss path.

checking in...I never seem to be around on Wednesdays... anyhow, no change this week #itsadamsfault I'll have to step up my game, as if I had a game. I might have a recipe to share with y'all but I have to try it out first. There's only one ingredient (and it's not kale)!

Friday - Toe Taps
Basic with Speed - while standing, tap your toe on the floor in front of you and then alternate feet. Your hips will be a twistin as you are movin to the groovin.
Advanced with Elevation - tap your toe on the top of a box or couch seat, alternate feet, adjust height of object to comfort level
Repeat to 50, counting each touch
You will feel the elevated one in your hips. The tap on top of the object is important so that you don't turn the movement into a kick. You'll see a low elevation (4-6 inches) example on Biggest Loser. I don't know if anyone does the higher heights on purpose other than me.

Chapf You ARE having fun...and entertaining us/me. How you come up with all these ideas and creative funny little people/smilies is genius.
I should be eating more tossed salad....SO TRUE! If I was as active as that salad I would be at my target weight in no time!
